Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary Sciences/ Agriculture with a valid JAM score are eligible to apply to this program. Those in the final year of their qualifying examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
- BE / B.Tech degree holders who qualify Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics paper in JAM can apply for Mathematical Sciences
- Those who appear in Biotechnology paper in JAM can apply for Biological Sciences discipline

How to Apply for M.Tech, M.Des, M.Mgt & Ph.D. at IISc Bangalore?
The application form can be filled by following the below-listed steps:
- Candidates seeking admission can submit the application forms through online mode from the official website.
- The application fee is INR 800 for GN/OBC/KM candidates and INR 400 for SC/ST/PWD categories.
- Application fee can be submitted online through any of the following online payment modes viz. Net-banking, Visa Card/ Master Card, Debit/Credit Cards.
- Candidates intimated for the aptitude test/group discussion and interview should bring the attested copies of all their transcripts (marks cards from SSLC or its equivalent onwards, degree certificates of the qualifying examinations, etc.).
Candidates seeking admission to the Integrated PhD programs should qualify in JAM and must update the corresponding scores immediately upon the declaration of JAM results. Candidates who have appeared in the following papers in JAM are eligible to apply for respective disciplines which are as follows:
