Azim Premji University BA {Hons.}: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The total fees for my course is around 4 Lakh per annum with need based scholarships available which is based on family income verified by income certificate and Bank statement. The scholarship is offered from 25% to 100%

Fees for undergraduate program The fees for the first year =?318800 Second year fees = ?337000 Third year fees =?357300 Forth year fees =?37800 The university provides scholarship to the students on the needs basis by seeing the students financial condition the students have to show their income certificate and one year bank statement. Apart from the tution fee and accomodation you have to pay for your food which costs ?7000 approx per month

The fee structure per year from batch of 2025 onwards is INR 3,18,000 as tuition fees plus Accomodation fees of 80,000. This fee is subject to nominal inflation and will increase in the subsequent years. The accomodation fee is compulsory for bachelors students as all the undergraduate programes are strictly residential. The registration form for application was INR 1000 in 2023 when I applied, it certainly has increased now. All courses have the same fee structure. Food charges are payable at actuals in the canteen. It is not pre paid. Per month one will spend INR 5000-6000 for food. The fee is payable at the beginning of each semester in July and January of each year. The tuition fee mentioned includes developement fee and other miscellaneous fees and there is no additional charge for components like library, internet. Scholarship is available for deseving candidates based on family income not based on merit. It is a need based financial assistance. The financila assistance will be given in the form of fee waivers and not in the form of cash to cover the accomodation an tuition expenditures. In some cases, after evaluation financial assistance towards food expenses is also provided. Students with an annual family income of less than INR 12 Lakh will be eligible for different levels of scholarship. To apply for the scholarship, one must mention it in the application form where it is asked, after which the University's financial assistance team will get in touch with you.

APU indeed has a subsidized fee structure. The fee structure is completely dependent on one's financial status and scholarship is allotted accordingly. One can get either a 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% scholarship according to one's family income.

The course fee for the entire course is approximately 4.2 lacs, which includes the course fee, and a scholarship is also provided by the university based on a test that will be administered. If you choose the hostel option, your fee will rise.

My course was of 3 years for which I paid total fees around 6,30,000. For the 1st year, I paid approximately 2,10,000 and for the rest semesters I paid approximately 1,00,000. I didn't get the scholarship but I got the financial aid help that helped me pay my fees.

My course fees might seem to be expensive but when i add on the facilities provided by the University, it is up to the mark. My entire course fees for the duration of three years in Bachelors of Arts is rupees 4,20,000.

The course syllabus was most up to date. In fact, our batch was given a revised version of the syllabus so that it fits the contemporary context. Exposure through group assignments and seminars is also provided as part of the course. Arjun Jayadev, who is professor as well as head of the department for economics taught us in the first year, and has worked with Economics Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz.

The Fees is quite expensive. Not every student can afford it. It is a big college with big maintainance. The fees is Rs 50000 for one year. Not everyone can afford it but it's worth it with the facilities provided
