Alliance University Vidya Spandana Scholarship
Alliance University offers the Vidya Spandana Scholarship to uplift economically backward communities in Karnataka. The eligibility criteria required for the Vidya Spandana Scholarship are as follows:
- This scholarship applies only to the Residents of Karnataka.
- The minimum academic eligibility for the programme at admission should be 80% and above in classes 10th and 12th.
- EWS certificate to be submitted, which is issued by District Magistrate (DM) /Additional District Magistrate (ADM) / Collector/ Deputy Commissioner/ Additional Deputy Commissioner/ First Class Stipendiary/ Magistrate/ Sub-Divisional Magistrate / Executive Magistrate/ Taluka Magistrate/ Extra Assistant Commissioner.
- Family income under the EWS category is up to Rs. 3 lakhs per annum from all sources.
- The tuition fee waiver plan is applicable for the entire tuition fee only.
- There should be no disciplinary case registered or reported.
- Applicant must be 20 years old or younger.
- Applicant must Possess a valid EWS certificate.

Alliance University Co-Curricular and Cultural Scholarships
Alliance University offers Co-Curricular and Cultural scholarships to students who are passion-driven and full of unique creative abilities and have the ability to explore the scope of cultural fields ranging from dance, drama, and music to painting, sculpture and literature. The Candidates who Fulfil the Requisite Eligibility Criteria and Wish to Avail Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme, Apart from Academic Credentials, Need to Submit the Following to the University:
- Recommendation Letters and one-minute WhatsApp videos by the mentoring institute, academy, private tutor, or gurus.
- Documentary proofs showcasing awards, certificates won by students or participation of students in activities/events.
- Minimum 2 references of individuals associated with the applicant in the same co-curricular activity.

- These scholarships shall be applicable for UG programmes offered by Alliance University.
Alliance University offers scholarships in the form of a tuition fee waiver to students who participate and win awards (first prize, second prize, gold medal, silver medal, etc) at different levels as follows:

Special Consideration:
For candidates shortlisted under this cultural/co-curricular scholarship and if they belong to SC/ST and PwD categories, there is an additional 10% waiver in tuition fees (if the scholarship is less than 100%), along with free accommodation and food on campus throughout the duration of their programme at Alliance University.
Terms and Conditions for Co-Curricular and Cultural Scholarships
- Scholarship renewal contingent upon sustained excellence in co-curricular and cultural activities.
- Maintenance of satisfactory academic performance throughout the course period. The students should maintain their academic proficiency (minimum of 5.0 GPA in all the semester exams) and should not have any backlog in any of the semester exams. If students cannot reach the minimum standard of renewal scholarship policy, the scholarship will be withdrawn from that academic session onwards.
- In the event of any disciplinary action against the student during his/her stay at the University during the course of the study, they will not be entitled to avail of any sports scholarship.
- Students must formally apply every year for the continuation of the scholarship on or before the last date as announced every year, failing to decide which scholarship would be withdrawn for that academic year.
- It shall be the sole discretionary power of the VC/ Registrar/ Student Welfare Committee of AU to recommend scholarships to students.
- Any misrepresentation of achievements may lead to the revocation of the scholarship.
- The Alliance University Excellence in Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular Scholarship is open to all undergraduate programmes offered by Alliance University. All eligible students pursuing UG programmes at Alliance University are encouraged to apply.
Alliance University Sports Scholarship
Alliance University Offers Sports Scholarships to reward and encourage students who have achieved a certain level of excellence in the sports of their choice. The programme is named “Sports Excellence Admission (SEA)”. The Sports Excellence Admission will be operational from the academic year 2024 – 2025. Up to 35% of attendance waiver from classes for scholarship recipients for participation in related events. The candidates should have participated nationally or internationally in a sports competition organised by a body/ association/ federation recognised by either Global/ National/ State standards or governments.

Alliance University Guidelines and Application Process
- Candidates may download the application from the university website and submit the hard copy of the filled-in applications along with the required documents to the office of the Registrar by the last date prescribed every year. Late submissions and incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Candidates may go through the guidelines, and those who fulfil the eligibility criteria for awarding scholarships must submit the applications.
- An applicant can apply for the scholarship only under one category/discipline. Only a single scholarship can be availed by a student for the entire program duration.
- Scholarships are subject to availability. Students will be awarded scholarships on a first-come-first-serve basis within each category for which they are eligible.
- Students must continue studying at Alliance University in the academic year for which the scholarship is offered. The scholarship cannot be deferred or transferred.
- All the details provided by the student in the scholarship form must be accurate. If the information at any point in time is found to be incorrect/insufficient, the scholarship, if granted, will automatically be cancelled.
- Students must participate in the Alliance Selection Process (Admission Process) to be selected for any programs. Post selection, the student must register for the program to be eligible to apply for the Alliance Scholarships.
- Scholarship applications only determine students' eligibility to apply for the scholarship. This in no way guarantees that the scholarship applied for will be awarded. The Alliance Vidya Spandana scholarship committee will determine whether the scholarship can be awarded or not.
- Scholarships apply to the first-installment tuition fees. The scholarship will be subject to the condition that the student consistently maintains an academic record of a minimum of 6.5 points / GPA throughout the program and subject to the decision made by the Alliance Scholarship Committee. There should not be any backlog in any of the semesters during the entire program of study. (This does not apply to the Alliance Vidya Spandana scholarship.)
- Students should not have any gaps/breaks in academics during the program.
- Students should not indulge in any activity that attracts disciplinary action; if so, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
- Performance only in qualifying entry-level examinations held in the two previous academic years before admission will be considered.
- Continuation of the sports scholarship in subsequent years is subject to a satisfactory contribution to the sporting activities of the University. Scholarship applicants will be awarded based on their past academic excellence, financial need and extracurricular activities.
- The scholarship committee shall evaluate each application and communicate the award after a personal interview of the applicants.
- The final list of scholarships granted for all programs across categories will be announced after the commencement of academic sessions. The amount would be adjusted against the last instalments for the students awarded one-time scholarships, as per the fee payment schedule.
- The decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final and binding, and no appeal will be entertained.
