The college is affordable for the students with the same quality of education as comapred to other colleges
The faculty of college is friendly and is always ready to help you
Dislikes
There is no in campus placement in my department
The semester exams get delayed sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview:
There are wide range of subjects including chemistry, maths, physics, botany, zoology, hindi, english, tribal languages, history, civics, sanskrit and other vocational courses. It might help one with competitive exams.
Campus Area was pretty big with decent infrastructure
Dislikes
The no of students in my class and college timings
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because i couldn't think of any other alternative. The course doesn't prepare you for the real world applications. The course could have a more practical approach rather a theoretical one.
College ambience is good for students ,teachers are also supportive .
Library has a great number and variety of books to read
Sports is not too important and itz not that prominent for students
Dislikes
Classess timing it doesn't have a proper time schedule most of the time one class will be on 8 am then the other class will be from 1 pm so the 4 hrs is wasted because there is no class and also students get irritated and there is major loss of life
Library seating is too conjusted and it also doesn't provide wifi and books are also not arranged accordingly
Canteen food is overpriced and also sometimes itz unhygienic too

I like most about the college is , it was on main road,
The faculty of department is very supportive.
Library facilities also provided, and classes to read
Dislikes
The college is not running on autonomous.
They do not conduct examination on timely manner.
Not enough teachers for additional or generic papers.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty-to-student ratio. How is the faculty to student relationship and how approachable are the faculties?
The name of the faculties you liked and why did you like them? Who are the best faculties?
The names of the faculties you didn't like and reason for not liking them?
How many exams are there and how easy or difficult are they? How many students fail to clear the exams? How relevant is the course curriculum?
Regular classes were held according to the scheduled routine.
Proper laboratory guidance were given by the professors during laboratory classes.
Every student was viewed as an individual and there opinion and doubts were taken into consideration and cleared too.
Dislikes
Sometimes syllabus won't be completed on time and we would have to make do with what were taught.
Girls to boys ratio was not nearly equal as there were more boys than girls in the class as the boys to girls ratio was 3:1.
No field work and no extra curriculum activities was held in our department. Overall it was more boring like a regular old school time.

Placement Experience:
The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards.
The companies visited were
Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA
Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA
Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good.
I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.
Student intake: it is very low so there's no rush or competition in placement drive
Placements: although it is a tier 3 college still placement in core branch is impressive.
Results: Results on competitive exams wre quite impressive like many top rankers in GATE and CAT are from this college
Dislikes
Campus area: The whole on paper area is 68 acres but half of it comes under residential so not allowed for students.
Curriculum: They are still teaching outdated syllabus.
Management: Seems to be very lazy and dependent.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive.
Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come.
Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical.
Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue )
Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.
Faculties are experienced and well versed in their respective fields.
Clinical exposure is excellent due to high patient inflow in the hospital
Regular ward visits and practical sessions enhance hands-on learning
Dislikes
While most faculty members are knowledgeable their availability for one on one mentorship can be inconsistent
Some more modernised labs could be enhance learning
Whiel internships are strong, structure guidance for international placements and USMLE/PLAB preparation could be improve
Placement Experience:
RIMS Ranchi being a Government Medical College primary focus on providing clinical exposure and preparing student for internships and post graduate exam. While concept of campus placement is more common in engineering for MBBS students placement opportunities typically revolve around intensive government services and post graduate admissions
