My Low Budget College life in Master at St. Xavier's College Ranchi

Major of the faculty members of our college were very interactive and friendly and were always ready to help and make their students learn and grow in there academics and real life scenarios. But quite few counted were very strict and wont give students much thought if there are lacking in any discipline. Faculty to student ratio was quite good i.e. 1:13. The Best faculty of our department was our H.O.D. Dr. Ushir Ranjan Sen Sir he was always very helpful and insightful. Our course structure was divided into 4 parts of 2 years i.e. from semeter 1 to semester 4 each semester having a duration of 6 months and semester having 2 exams cores 1 mid semester exam with 1/4th or half the syllabus and end semester exams with the whole course syllabus of that semester. As for the making scheme midsemester was of total 30 marks in which u need to score 17 marks to pass which included 15 marks written test and 10 marks assignment and 5 marks attendance and as for the end semester exam it was total of 70 marks in which you need to score 28 marks to pass. The whole end semester exam is written exam of 70 marks. But here is the catch you need to pass in both mid semester and end semester separately to be promoted to the next semester. But if you fail in mid semester you won't be allowed to write end semester examination and will be back a semester in that subject and next re-exam is held next with your juniors when they are giving there same semester examination and you need to give both mid and end semester examination, if you were to fail only in end semester examination then still you have to give the mid and end semester examination again.

The faculty-to-student ratio is quite good. I was in the English Department, and my experience with all the teachers and professors was excellent. All the professors were highly educated; they were all doctors (PhDs) in their respective fields and were true experts in their subjects. I liked all my teachers, and I am not being biased toward anyone." Each year consisted of two semesters, and typically, one semester lasted for six months, with exams held at the end of that period. However, classes didn't always run for the full six months. Sometimes, to maintain the academic session, exams were conducted within just four months, which was completely fine."

Bestest college

The college faculty is very good. All the teachers and staff are very helpful and have a supportive nature; they help everyone a lot. However, there are a few people who have joined the college through connections, because of which they are not able to help everyone equally and sometimes become a bit selfish. Overall, everything is very good. The examination pattern of the college is also very good. The year is divided in such a way that exams are conducted once a year—once in the first year and again in the second year, which is considered the final result.

The best collage in ranchi

All the faculty of st xavier's college ranchi are good ,someone are just fantastic the faculty to students ratio are 2:8. The best teacher in my department according to me is professor sumit kumar roy he use to make us fall in love with the subject like physics. And almost all the faculty are nice . And lastly about the exams for each semesters there will be 2 ixams one end sem ixam and ine mid sem ixam.

THE FACULTY MEMBERS AT NIAMT ARE VERY SUPPPORTIVE AND KNOWLEDGABLE AND MOST OF THE TIME THEY BEHAVE LIKE AS FREIND WHICH IS A VERY GOOD PART OF FACULTY MEMBERS OF NIAMT.THEY ARE ALWAYS READY TO HELP. WHILE TEACHING THEY TRY TO RELATE THE TOPIC WITH REAL WORLD OR DAILY LIFE THINGS WHICH HELP US TO UNDERSTAND THE TOPIC EASILY. THE COURSE STRUCTURE HERE IS WELL PLANNED AND BALANCED BETWEEN THEORY AND PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE. WE HAVE GOOD LAB FACILITES ANT THOSE LABS ARE WELL EQUIPPED OF THE REQUIRED SYSTEM OF DIFFERENT DEPARTMENT. NIAMT USE TO CONDUCT THE WORKSHOPS OF DIFFERENT FIELDS TO TEACH INDUSTRY BASED REQUIRMENTS TO STUDENT IN EVERY TWO TO THREE MONTHS. AT NIAMT THERE IS FAIR EXAMINATION SYSTEM LIKE MID-SEM,END-SEM ALONG WITH INTERNAL MARKS ,ASSSIGNMENT AND LAB WORK. THE MARKING HERE DEPENDS ON THE FACULTY MEMBER AS IT IS NOT LIKE TOO MUCH HARD BUT HERE IT DEPENS ON TEACHER WILLNESS ACCORDING TO THE TOPIC WHICH HAD BEEN GIVEN IN QUESTION PAPER. THE MARKING IS OVER ALL TRANSPARENT AND BASED ON YOUR OVERALL PERFORMANCE ,NOT JUST ONE EXAM. IF YOU STUDY SINCERELY ,SCORING WELL IS NOT DIFFICULT .

Faculty teachers are well qualified and experienced and expertise in their job role. I love so much in their teaching style, with the help of smart board , teacher explained so much in the classroom , each student understand easily and give answer
Placement is also good in the college. Teacher always aware regarding placement and provide opportunity for each student and interaction with teacher is so nice and comfort and with others. College is so discipline and well maintained.

There are 15 faculty teachers in my course and 60 students are placed in the course and teacher or students relationship is so much good. Teacher are friendly with their students and students are also. The faulty name that I like nidhi arya . She guide each and every student. I like all the faculty teachers and there is no reason to dislike and exams are conducted each semester.

Faculty Quality is great, the ratio of teacher and student is comprehensible

staffs are not available on time which hampers the task

The faculty to student ratio for the Bachelor's degree was 100:5. We had mentors assigned for any personal or social issues if any. Since it is an all women's college, the teacher student bond is more close and friendly. During my BA and MA courses, my best experience was with Dr Supriya madam. She has been a great mentor and guide for both academic and personal issues. The faculties are readily approachable and easy to commute. For exams, we have 2 mock tests a year and 1 semester exam. The questions are of moderate to difficult level. No students failed the MA course, while a few had a back semester in the BA course.

The teachers here are sporty and senior too

The environment of the college is very good and the students here are also very good and the teachers are also very spot on and everyone remains in peace and never refuses the words of those who are elder to him.

Awesome and nice college

The faculty was good and supportive the teacher helped us everytime we needed help. I liked Dr Madhu Mishra nature because of her helpful nature she is always ready to help the students. she was also the cultural co ordinator of the college.
