CU Jharkhand MBA : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to the university is based on the CAT exam, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) process, and filling out the CUCET form. A good score in these entrance exams and GDPI increases the chances of admission. The faculty, all holding PhDs and meeting UGC guidelines, have an average age of 40 and provide valuable industry connections aiding in student placement. The academic structure includes three sessionals with the top two scores considered, along with an end semester exam.

The university, regulated by the Central Ministry, offers an affordable fee structure; the total fee, including food and accommodation, is 80,000 INR. There are 30 courses available with a consistent and transparent fee structure. The placement season begins in November, attracting 15-20 companies to campus, with approximately 80% of MBA and IMBA students securing placements. Notable recruiters include Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC, and TCS, among others. The highest package, over 7 LPA, was offered by Amul.

Students with scores of 6 and above were placed, with many securing jobs through pool campus placements. From the third semester, students are eligible for placements. The summer internship lasts for at least 6 weeks, with companies such as Pantaloons and Mahindra offering opportunities. The college provides scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal and offers loan assistance. Scholarships are available for students from backward classes and BPL families, with opportunities also for PhD students.

The tuition fee for a master's degree is 32,000 INR per semester, and no course exceeds 30,000 INR per semester. There are reserved seat quotas for SC and ST categories.
