Admission Process
Applications for admission are accepted online on the official website of the university at a fee payment of INR 1,500. The documents required for PG admissions are as follows:
- Self-attested photocopy of SSC (for date of birth).
- Self-attested photocopy of HSSE Certificates.
- Self-attested photocopies of Bachelors/ UG Degree & Marks-Sheet for all years / semesters of Bachelors/ UG Degree program.
- Two self-addressed (duly stamped) envelopes
- JEE Main Registration Card, JEE Main Rank Card / SMVDUEE Rank Card, valid documents from the admission centre
- Two self-addressed (duly stamped) envelopes
- Character Certificate duly signed by the Principal/Registrar of the College/Institute from where the student has appeared in the qualifying Examination.
- Migration/Transfer Certificate
- 5 recent passport size photographs.
JoSAA
Admission to B.Tech programs is offered through JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Students who have appeared for either JEE Mains or JEE Advanced must keep the following points in mind while registering:
- Students having qualified JEE Mains are eligible to apply for seat allotment to NITs only.
- While JEE Advanced qualified candidates can apply to all participating institutions.
- Applicants can fill as many options while registering in the decreasing order.
- In order to be considered for admission according to the given options, students must not forget to lock their choices. Once locked no changes can be made.
- In total, there are 7 rounds for seat allocation where all institutions participate who are a part of it.
- Finally, an acceptance fee must be paid for accepting the seat provisionally.
- Students must appear at the nearest JoSAA center for document verification.
JEE Mains
The application fee for taking this exam varies with the type of candidature. The application fee for the general category is INR 325. The following section throws light on the requirements and the process of registration for JEE Mains.
Documents Required
- Scanned and recent photograph coloured or black/white (but clear contrast) JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
- Application forms with unclear photographs will be rejected.
How to Register?
- Visit the official website of JEE Main and click on “Fill Online Application Form”.
- Register by giving your personal details, to generate a user id and password.
- The application number will be generated after submitting the details for registration.
- The form requires personal details, address, and mobile number.
- You can set your security question and password to access the application for the future.
- Submit the application form by logging in with the same user id and password that you had set.

The year wise paid was 100000~ tution fees 40000~lab fees and other compulsory fees Fees are same for every one irrespective of their reservation. If students jee main crl rank under 50000 then they get 4 semester fee off for this they have to score at least 7 cgpa. If students jee main crl rank under 100000 then they get 2 semester fee off for this they have to score at least 7 cgpa.

- In my university I likes campus the most it is beautiful
- Also I likes the environment and people around my university

- To be honest I don't like mess food here
- Second thing I hate here is non veg is prohibited

Tution fee is high there 66 thousands per semester Complete cost of my education is about 2 lakhs per year Scholarship is available on merit basis ,two types number 1 you have to secure top 10 rank in your class and second is jee mains rank based

- Sports facilities are not so good due to sports staff because coaches are not trained and have lack of knowledge of sports .

In my university , tuition fees is almost same for all years and there is only a decrease of approx. 10000 rupees . The complete cost of my education including tuition , service fees , and other compulsory charges is 1,70,000 rupees . No scholarship is provided by my college on the basis of categories /caste. Only jammu.

Fee structure are very high for engineering colleges like in smvdu they take like 1.5 lakh per annualsnd its huge There are various scholarships are given to the students based on there academic results

- Infrastructure is quite decent comparing to other state universities or gftis one of top notch.
- Location is quite good infront of trikuta hills surrounded by hills on three sides
Dislikes
- Return of investment is on lower side.total cost will reach around 12lakhs but in comparison to that placement is not at that level
- Strict rules for exiting campus students are not allowed to enter after 8pm.

University provides scholarship if your SGPA is above than 8.5/10 and you are in top 10 position. Affordability of fees depend on person to person but academic fees is around 1,80,000/yr and hostel charges are 20000/yr mess charges are 23358/yr

- I likes faculty.except some faculty all faculty is too helpful .they motivate all failure and backlog students.they take extra class for students if their syllabus is not completed at the time of examination.faculty and staff members is too good
- I liked environment.in morning,you saw Vaishno Devi temple,trikuta mountain.when you go to terrace then it looks like cloud touches your head.main point is you intake hundred percent oxygen which is pure.
Dislikes
- I disliked management of here.management ia not good .
- Dean of mess is not good.students give many applications to Dean but they didn't hear them.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Actually,fee is little bit high .but hostel and mess fee is not high.tution fee is140000 for one year.here no any reservation category is applied for any student.if you got 8.5 cgpa in your semester then you got scholarship of 100 percentage in both mess and tution fee .campus employment is too friendly.they support everyone.

- Campus view is awesome. Mountains and greenery everywhere makes the air neat and clean.
- Hostel rooms are good in my hostel that is New Basholi
Dislikes
- Mess food is horrible here. The worst thing about the hostel life is mess food here.
- Campus placements are not satisfactory. College administration should work on placement cell.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure for this college is quite high. It's about more than 2 Lakhs 15 thousand per year for BTech courses. Hostel and mess fee is also included in this. The scholarship is provided to btech students on the basis of Jee mains rank. If your rank is below 1 lakh in jee mains exam then you can get about 90% scholarship but there's some terms and conditions with that scholarship. When it comes to financial assistance I guess there's JK bank which provides education loan to students, but the interest rate is not fair for students.

- Mess food is usually bad and if you are non vegetarian no non veg is provided and it's not allowed to bring inside the hostel campus.
- Mobility of the college is very limited.But usually a metadoor pass through the college in evenry half n hour

Scholarship is provided to one who's jee rank is below 1 lakh and you maintain 7.5 cgpa and If you score above 8.5sgpa in semester In both the cases you get 100% remission for that semester. This are two common scholarship provided by the college.
