The agricultural course requires clearing an entrance exam, with applications submitted offline for a fee of 1000 INR. The entrance exam was held on 24 July 2013, with final admissions approved by August 2013. The course is structured into approximately 54 courses over 8 semesters, each averaging 30 classes. Although the faculty is supportive, there is a noted gap in awareness of new technology among older members. The horticulture department stands out for its industrial experience and certifications.
The college charges around 10,000 INR per semester, which includes hostel facilities. Placement opportunities are managed by the Directorate of Students Welfare, with a focus on sectors like banking, insecticides, pesticides, and fertilizers. The banking sector is currently the primary source for placements. Scholarships of about 1000 INR monthly are awarded to top students, and the college assists economically disadvantaged students with education loans through a simple application process.
