Admission through gate requires valid GATE SCORE to get the admission in the SVNIT. Scholarship provisions are there for the GATE fellowships, which is decided by the ministry of education, which is 12400 per month for now. Total fees for the course is 1.4Lakhs. But including hostel charges and all the extra miscellaneous charges together, it can go upto 2.5lakhs. All the fees can be covered by the stipend which is available for the research purpose.

A Life at SVNIT

Fees and Financial Aid:

In first yr I Paid Rs 99000 course fee and in second year I paid Rs 84000 course fee.For each semester ,Tution fee is Rs 35000. Lab fee is Rs 3000 per semester. Admission fee is Rs 2000 at one time (At the time of admission).Institute developement contribution is Rs 12000 (One time).Security money is Rs 5000 ( Refundable). Seat rent of hostel for double occupancy is Rs 4000 per year.My one batchmate of SC category told me once that he has to pay only 3000 Rs. I used to get Rs 12400 per month stipend for 22 months of my course from MHRD as I was GATE qualified student. Also We used to get Rs 5000 per year as contingency fund for buying stationaries, electronics items etc. from college.

Mtech EXPERIENCE OF NIT SURAT

Fees and Financial Aid:

If you clear the gate exam...you will gate 12400 per month. For SC, St candidates there is no tuition fee but you have to pay mess and hostel fees. My some friends got jobs in TCE and L and T. There are a lot of companies that are coming into colleges to recruit.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

Tution fee - 35000 plus 18000 registration and other fee in odd sem. 35000 refund for sc/st candidate. Campus selection is medium- INTEL visit for internship in 2nd sem for 1 year and 60% student converted in permanent after m.tech.

The fee Structure is good as it is an NIT. There was no fee hike during my tenure at the college. A scholarship was provided by the college for the students that had joined through a good gate score. I had joined TCE through campus recruitment.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Educational loans are easily manageable at the local sbi branch. The college operates with the bank seamlessly, no hassle. The only financial aid I receive is from MhrD as a gate qualified master's student which currently is 12, 400 per month, which I never receive on time. First deposit I got was 3 months after joining.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is a private university based in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, India, and is approved by AICTE and UGC. The university also has NAAC accreditation with an ‘A’ Grade. It is also recognized by the Scientific and Industrial Research Organization by the Gov. Of India.

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) is presently ranked 58th amongst top engineering colleges in India as per the NIRF rankings 2019 and offers BTech and MTech, M.Sc, etc courses for all departments.

Admission:

PDPU:

For admission in BTech, one must have passed 10+2 with PCM/B from a recognized board. Candidates applying must appear in the JEE entrance exam to be eligible.
For M. Tech, candidates applying must score at least 60% in Bachelor degree from any stream of Science and Tech. GATE exams are considered for admission.
For MBA, candidates applying must score at least 50% in Bachelor degree from any stream, whereas the CAT/XAT exams must be qualified to be considered for admission.

SVNIT:

For admission in B. Tech, one must have passed 10+2 with 75% and above with PCM/B from a recognized board. Candidates applying must qualify for the JEE entrance exam to be eligible.
For M. Tech, candidates applying must be a graduate from any stream of Science, and Technology with a qualified GATE score.
For B. Sc + M. Sc, candidates must have qualified 10+2 from a recognized board.
