One Of the Best college of Bihar . After IIT Patna and NIT Patna . Top 3rd college of Bihar .

Likes

The Campus of College is ossam and Ground for game like , Cricket , Football, Bollyball & Badminton is best.
The Main Building of College is pretty good .
The Hostel facility for every year student is available. & Environment in college for Study and practical is also good .

Dislikes

Ragging is also happening, which effects relation with senior -junior.
Hostel food is not affordable ,& 1-2 days in a week worst food provides.
Assignment burden in last time of examination.

Placement Experience:

For placement there is seperate Building, that place and cell . From 3rd year of college everyone can apply for placement. For IT many companies visiting like Wipro , TCS, and may more . But for Civil Engineering there is lack of opportunities for getting placed .

Our college gives good opportunity to get placed in well known companies like wipro hdfc bank, prabhat khabar etc. minimum package offered by our college is 4 lakh per annum to maximum of 30 lakh per annum

Dislikes

The rule and the management I say was not good the rules are not good and you can't explore more
The management has to change something thye have to allow the students to and explore more..

Review on my college

Likes

The college campus is very greenery and having space have park, canteen, IWay for surfing.
College provides hostel and conduct various fests and participants from all over the state.
The faculties are very friendly always ready to teach and spent their time with student's projects.

Dislikes

Placement is not better. Some companies come but not providing good CTC.
There is not any beneficial for any preparations like for conducting interviews or mock interviews.
Some buildings are damaged and various problems created in the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was btech in information technology and their curriculum maintained by the aicte. I want to suggest that faculties must try to get together of new technology with the students. For the exam, they must try to focus for the placement preparation exams.

There is lot of peace in our campus area, as it is far from the city.
There is very experienced and supportive faculty.
College's labs are well maintained, specially the workshop is best.

Dislikes

There is less market which is not good for students
Hostel mess food is average in quality, but it has nonveg for 4 days in a week.

From ?th semester students become eligible for placement and number of good companies visited like HCl and many more. Last year the highest package is 14 lpa and average package is 4 lpa. Almost 60% students got placed and other got selected in gate or any other comparative exams. I will also try to clear gate exam after getting my degree.

Is Bihar engineering college is good?

Gaya college of engineering is the top colleges in Bihar here good environment and best infrastructure for the students as well as faculties ...
Here civil engineering is the one of the best branch.
There is separate boys hostel for each and every year students.

Dislikes

This college lack of extracurricular activities like games , cultural program.
So, this college is in remote area that's why you also not get exposure you want.
Also placement is not so good for all branches.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here , civil is one of the best branch in bihar engineering college . So I choose civil engineering because I want to focus on government job. All types of laboratory equipments are available for civil engineering. This college have to focus on offline intership for civil engineers.

Patna Medical College-Through My Eyes

Likes

patient load is very high here- it's among highest in india.so, it's very good for clinical exposure and learning.
Most of the professors here are highly qualified.they can be great help to budding doctors.
it's going to be 2nd largest hospital in Asia in terms of numbers of bed.Although heavy construction going in around college,but once finished it will be like a medical Also it's located in the heart of patna , hence every thing is accessible easily.

Dislikes

Campus is built in less area as compared to central institute like AIIMS.
Campus life is not that great.however mammoth scale construction going on in the college and hence scope for improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are conducted on time. level of question paper is comparable to any other central institutes.Sessions begins and ends on time. Teaching methods including powerpoint presentations, chalk & board method. Teaching methods can be improved as many times there is sound problem in the lecture hall and mics are unavailable or not working most of the time.

The campus placement offers for our college is no like iit and nit but better than normal engeneering college of bihar.aprox 5 lakh per annum salary offered . Here comes hi-tech and shree cement and more companies

Their is well defined campus and new campus will be ready with in year
Faculties are highly educated and supportive
Easily getting that place by car ,bus, bike

Dislikes

Not support in organising fest and cultural program
Classes not goes properly through out the semester

I got admitted in this college in Sep 2023. one thing I liked the most is that seniors here are supportive. there is no ragging scenery here. bootcamps and workshops are being conducted on a regular basis by seniors. Teachers are also supportive.
Campus area of my college is about 40 acres. campus is clean and green. trees are planted alongside the paths which adds a natural beauty to the campus.
Faculties are well experienced and recruited through BPSC exam. to enhance students performance, faculties teacher meeting are conducted regularly. student mentorship program plays a vital role in it.

Dislikes

campus is about 5 km away from the market. transportation seems a problem here.
placement scenery is very bad here. very less package are offered and that too to a very less number of students.
campus environment is not like an engineering college. everyone (faculties and students) seems to do their duty only.

Placement Experience:

Placements csenery is very bad here. very less number of companies visits here and they offer very less package. To get placement here, you have to choose off campus placement. companies visit here are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL. very less number of students are placed, about 40%. highest placement offer is 20 lpa from off campus. my plan is to do Mtech after this degree.
