Life of KU student

Likes

Nice campus, well qualified faculties, and classrooms with AC
Good time management and good labs and teaching method is also quite okay

Dislikes

Hostel rooms are small and the bathrooms are not well maintained sometimes
Food tastes average but not too bad. Electrical appliances are also not allowed so we cannot cook for ourselves.

Internships Opportunities:

Kaziranga university provides internship opportunities to bpharm students from the 6th semester which are unpaid and sometimes with stipend as well. It is quite helpful for better learning and especially practical learning and opening up to more job opportunities by establishing connections

Honest and unbiased review of Kaziranga University

Likes

The curriculum for engineering is good enough in Assam, you'll not find a better alternative with the same affordability that Kaziranga University provides.
The importance on the character development of students, be it in sports or cultural activity or participating in events outside of campus is good, the teachers will help you in whatever direction you need them
The flexibility in terms of uniform and other such parts are better. You are not constantly asked to something against your will and you'll get the necessary help from the management as well

Dislikes

The campus area is very less. It would have been better is there was more area and more stuff that we can take part in...sometimes it feels very conjusted inside the campus
The hostel management is very poor, the warden and security are not at all cooperative, the food is a total waste
There should have been more sports facilities around, as we don't have a separate section for indoor sports or badminton, only football, basketball and cricket are a main focus

Internships Opportunities:

We don't get internships with stipend often, we have to apply for them outside the campus, but we do have unpaid internships where we can obviously learn stuff. Companies like Assam Electronics and airports are there for the internship opportunities. The projects we have taken part in are innovating a game for a AR device which have given us enough name among some seniors of computer science in this nation

The staff and the environment of the university

Poor transportation system in the University
It’s not located in the main town of Jorhat.
It’s hostel food and some security guards are not too good

Yeah, we have optometry Ott and dialysis intensive and also physiotherapy also, and you can put a good internship and get a nice job of six lakh, so it's good to have a nice penis today. University of the degree.

The things which I like is the faculty members of our department which they teaches us at the best of their efforts and making each and every students to learn well and raise their doubts to clear it, they also put their efforts on students for well.
The university also have well round and clean surrounding and proper maintenance for the students and proper safety for the students to guard them from dangerd faculty members. The university has a huge campus with proper playground and proper safety
The students here are well mannered and respect for each other regardless of race, caste, religion,etc. they showed love and respect for each other whether they are a seniors or juniors they show loved and respect for each other by helping them each

Dislikes

They need to maintained the students well
Roads and proper dustbin should be maintained
Proper wastes disposal should be made it

Internships Opportunities:

As I am new to this college as a fresher so I not quite sure about the internship provided by and the projects given to the students by the faculty members bt I believe that it will be a good one in it

KU from my POV

Likes

The faculty members are so friendly and helpful. They guide us in all the possible ways.
The uni has a clean environment. It has strict prohibitions regarding smoking and drinking inside the campus.
The uni hosts all kinds of festivals. Since on the days of national festivals the uni is closed, so the uni organizes pre celebration for every festival. In this way students can enjoy with all they want.

Dislikes

Although the uni doesn't allow anyone to smoke inside the campus, some students still smoke outside the campus, even at the entrance of the uni. This makes the environment so disgusting.
As I'm a dayscholar , I don't know about the hostel life. But I know one thing for sure that the uni hostel food is so bad.

Internships Opportunities:

The uni informs us about ongoing internship opportunities. The faculty members also helps us in doing different tasks. They inspire us to write review papers. We always get e-mails in our official email id from the uni about internship and other upcoming events.

Teachers are cool and doesn't take much classes

Hostel food had insects in it which actually went viral on Instagram
The machines in the labs are not working
Everything is about money and not the students wellbeing or knowledge

The internships I've done was searched and selected by myself. The only internship the university helps with is the final year internship which they pay half for. I don't know about projects yet but there is a major project in the last semester

Kaziranga University: Physiotherapy Department of SHS

Likes

The college host lots of program beside teaching making the educational environment more interesting.
The college also has a nice environment free from pollutions.
The college also have clean surrounding as it is cleaned daily by sweepers.

Dislikes

The educators who are from the region tends to speak more from their native language while teaching considering the fact that all the students are not from the native place.
It does not have enough classrooms and labs for students. There are lot of department but all the departments does not have their own classroom and lab and have to share with others.
When there is inspection the college tries their best to make things look at the finest but once the inspection is done it goes back to its original places.

Internships Opportunities:

For my batch mate we had the opportunity to go for internship in our first year. Though i don't know about the other department for our department we had to search for our own place of Internship. The internship was held for 120 hours but didn't include much activities as the internship was mainly for observation purposes.

Everything is good excpet the hostel mess food needs a bit of improvement

Hostel mess food, because it was later discovered it was disgusting
Semester fees are a bit off and way a bit too much
Teachers be a bit prtial against other state students and assamese mainly they speak assamese everywhere but not lectures

In our university infrastructure are very good , seperate building for each course and also seperate building for boys and girls hostel, facilities house are build in our university Campus
Our university campus is so beautiful and natural its look like wow
Facilities are very supportive and they give us proper guidance

Dislikes

Hostel food are one the most dislike, sometime they provide very low quality of food
Transport problem is another main problem in our university campus
Hostel rooms are very compact,we feel very unsafe in our hostel

Internships Opportunities:

We are medical students so medical college are come in our university and we do internships in this medical colleges , per year we go to the top medical college in assam for internships And aslos some other project are given in our department like human resources, bones structure etc

The campus is good...we have specific spaces for sports and all
The faculties are good...they are very understanding

Dislikes

Canteen foods are not good..We have two canteens but foods are not good
The place of the university is very rural...we don't have much resturant or cafe in the out side of the university
For the past few years the university haven't conduct any annual festival or concerts
