According to my personal course which is bachelor of pharmacy I have got an some good t-shirts who have guided me in my whole b.pharm of 3 years and the teacher will knowledgeable and well guided and kind enough to guide us in a good direction ~ Nazmul Hussain, B Pharma

Dislikes

Average package is 3-4lpa ...and might be or might not be the chances for internship availability ~ Arya Singh, B.Tech
Over-all packages are low ..i.e;12lpa highest till now adtu students got ~ Arya Singh, B.Tech

EXPERIENCE ASSAM DOWN TOWN UNIVERSITY

Likes

Campus is very clean and big. There are multiple things tondo in the campus
The faculty are experienced and very helpful.
There are various facilities like swimming pool, a gym, Badminton court etc.

Dislikes

Unfortunately the administration here is the weakest link of the University.
The exams are not conducted in a timely manner
The University prioritizes certain group of students and you can clearly feel that.

I am a forensic science student and i took this course here because i was always interested in this subject. There are various practicals conducted in a weekly basis The odd semester exams are usually very unorganized and feel rushed because of holidays but the even semester is longer in comparison to the odd semester.

ADTU THE UNTOLD STORY

Likes

The facility and infrastructure of the college and my department is good all the things that is required to perform the experiment,etc is available in the labs.
The college has refreshing zones throughout the campus which helps us to get refreshed in off periods so that we stay fresh
The teaching staff are supportive and helpful with anything that we need helps with

Dislikes

The time taken for some work to finish for example if you have some issues with your fees,etc it might take you months for the thing to get resolved
The campus sits on top of a hill which makes the students wake a long hard time getting to their respective departments

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I knew I needed a good faculty and a good laboratory for the course I chose which the college provided me with, and since for further academic pursuits I would need those things very importantly which is good for us. The teaching methods could improve if the college put microphones in each classroom and the rooms were big enough. The timing of exams and the frequency are good enough as they prepare us for the competition in today's world.

Likes

The college is of good infrastructure and it has a large area.which includes swimming pool, gym, etc.
The teaching faculty is experienced and gives their best in teaching

Dislikes

The college is a bit on the hill side, making it tiresome to go up.

Placement Experience:

After u have enter the 4-5th semester u're eligible, our college have linked with various companies including with the foreign companies.the average package is 4-5 LPA. The highest is 23 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement depends on their performance.

Life in ADTU

Likes

Campus is having good greenery, clean environment.
Good infrastructure and facility is provided with 24/7 water and electricity supply
Canteen facility is there in every block.

Dislikes

Lack of professional teachers is the main problem.
Canteen food is very expensive and not available all the time
Lack of in campus transportation and lack of instruments in laboratory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally wanted to take admission in biotechnology and to know it's prospect about other scopes linked to biotechnology. This course encourages me to learn more in the field of Medical Biotechnology, Animal Biotechnology, Industrial Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology and Agricultural Biotechnology.

A decent experience

Likes

The campus is really very beautiful and serene which brings a refreshing vibe to studying
There are a lot of amenities that can be availed which helps in the growth of an individual as a student
There are quite a number of recreational events that happen in the university every year and it's a great experience to unwind and relax from the academic settings

Dislikes

The crowd you'll find would be 60-40 like some of them you see would be downright horrible while some would be the best of people you ever meet
The teaching staff is quite good but it depends on the department and faculties you belong to

Placement Experience:

Students sometimes do get placements after the job interviews on the campus however after course completion we do get opportunities to apply for jobs in the government sector as well as in private companies in whichever particular field of microbiology we would like to pursue further.

Reality vs advertising of college

Likes

The campus surely have a great greenery and proper cleanliness and proper hygiene and good environment.
Infrastructure is also good and 24/7 power and water supply is there. All necessary instruments for laboratory work and computers are available in good conditions.
Various kind of food and vending machines are also available at every block and quality and variety is also well maintained.

Dislikes

Faculties of Science are somewhat good, not very supportive. And also in paramedical the Faculties are less trained and very unprofessional in teaching terms.
Wifi facility is available but not having a good speed to access data resources from internet at any point of the campus.
Vehicle parking facility is also poor. And also the guards take less care of the vehicles parked as monkeys usually scratch or damage the vehicles.

Placement Experience:

Placement of this University ranges from 2.5 LPA to 10 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed is around 50% of the total final year students. Company like wipro, marico ,amazon ,tata consultancy and many more take part in campus placement drive. And as of now I'm placed in two Company, 1. Pie infocomm pvt ltd as junior software developer with a package of 4.5 LPA and 2. MARICO INDIA ltd as a trainee in product quality analyst and control with a package of 1.8 LPA.

Likes

I like the way the teachers teaching and the support for any kind of quarry.
Mainly the canteen and the natural view of the University always make me calm and cool

Dislikes

I always agree that if the fees will be more aforadable for low class people
I must say about the free education for BPL student

Basically I love computers from my childhood. And I always wanted to be a engineer. Especially developer .so I decided to doing B. Sc(IT) course. This course really give me backups and pick the career asap The teaching part is really good and the teachers are really supportive and always motivate to doing some unique Exams pattern and level are moderate and I this will be good for all students.. And lastly I wanted to said that thank you for giving an opportunity to studied (ADTU)

Some unforgettable memories of my college life

Likes

College infrastructure, place where the college is situated, faculties, canteen where delicious meals are available, flower garden, Annual program.

Dislikes

Generally there is nothing to dislike. I spent a very good time in that college.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester students can sit for placement drive. I have passed out in 2020 and I didn't sit for placement because I wanted to go for further study. Students generally appear for interview and also get their dream job can start their career.
