VFSTR Ph.D: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Vignan University offers Ph.D. programmes in different fields. The application form can be submitted through both online and offline modes. Admission is generally given in January and July, every year. Admission will be based on merit in the University Entrance exams followed by an interview. GATE/CSIR/NET/CAT qualified candidates are exempted from the written test, but have to appear for Interview.

Vignan University Ph.D Eligibility

• PG degree in any one of the relevant engineering specializations.
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.
• Candidates with an interdisciplinary requisite qualification can be considered with department approval.
• GATE/CSIR/NET/CAT qualified candidates are eligible.

• The candidate will go through with the written test.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
• The final merit list will include certain criteria.

Vignan University Ph.D Scholarship

Vignan University offers INR 25,000 per month for Engineering and INR 18,000 for Science, Management and Humanities full-time Ph.D. scholars under the Half Time Research Assistantship (HTRA) and a 50% tuition fee waiver for faculty working in Vignan Institutions and registered as a part-time research scholar.
