It was established in 1986 and is named for Dr Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a former chief minister of the state of Andhra Pradesh. NTRUHS MBBS & BDS Admission 2024
NTRUHS offers MBBS and BDS programmes in its Medical and Dental Colleges. The university reserves 85% of the total available seats to the local candidates and 15% is reserved for the All India Quota. Dr YSR University of Health Sciences offers admission in UG, PG, Super-speciality, and Doctoral degrees in Medical courses with various specializations. Admission to various courses is based on the candidate’s eligibility and selection process. The selection process is based on merit/score in previous qualifying examinations and entrance examinations which are followed by counselling sessions. The selected candidates are granted seats based on merit and seat availability. The candidates can fill out the application form online. Before filling out the application form, the candidate is advised to read the prospectus and notification carefully and gather all the documents required to fill out the application form.
How to apply for NTRUHS Admission?
NTRUHS Admissions registration can be done both online and offline on selection. Candidates opting for offline admission can contact Admission Cell at NTRUHS. Candidates applying online are required to follow the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of drysruhs.edu.in
- Select “New Registration” and register using your Email ID and Mobile Number.
- Fill out the form with all the relevant details along with the Entrance Examination Score.
- Click on the “Validate” button.
- Candidates will receive the registration number and password in their registered Email ID and Mobile Number.
- Applicants are suggested to note them down for future reference.
- Log in using the registration number and password and complete the rest of the form and then click on “validate”.
- Upload your recent passport-size photograph and other mandatory documents.
- Make the payment of the registration fees online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. Submit the form.
- Online application for the entrance exams can be done by visiting the official website of the conducting bodies.
- Candidates are advised to take the printout of the application form for future reference.

In my priority list this was the second college. The admission is based on the priority we preferred. I applied all medical Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Yes I got rejected from other colleges because of my marks are not sufficient to get admission in their college. The admission is based on the councelling process who are eligible and got passed in neet UG exam and cut offs changes every year.

I have applied to other medical colleges such as Andhra medical college in vizag and guntur medical college in guntur. I have come across the information that the faculty is much better here in Kurnool medical college than those above mentioned colleges. I have also applied for jipmer college in pondicherry but it was not approved as my rank was low by 10 points. The admission process is simple in the college.All the requirements documents such as identity proof,10th class mark list,12th class mark list,neet score card, passport size photo, etc are needed to be submitted at the time of admission. NEET exam conducted nationwide is the only exam accepted to this college for MBBS course. The cutoff vary every year and for various categories of students.

NTRUSH releases the NEET cut-off for the BHMS program for the respective categories of students. You have to submit an application through the admission portal that will be released on the official website of the university. The total course fee for the BHMS program is INR 42500.
Dr. NTR University Of Health Sciences does not offer a Diploma in Pharmacy but you can apply to other colleges such as MR College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Seth Govind Raghunath Sable College of Pharmacy, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, etc.
You can apply for admission to the B.Sc Anaesthesia & Operation Techniques program of NTRUHS if you have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board with at least 50% marks and PCB subjects.
Admission will be based on the merit of the entrance test conducted by the university. The fee per annum is INR 5,500.
To get admission to the B.Sc Cardiac Technology course of NTRUHS you must have passed Class XII examination in PCB or PCM subjects along with English. Admission will be granted based on the merit in the entran test conducted by the university.
