Techno India University Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college is one of the best among private engineering colleges and also many of my friends and seniors studied here and got good jobs. Also computer science stream teachers are good. It is very much disciplined college.

Reputation of the College, it is quite a popular College for private education, as i won't be getting into government colleges. That was the only reason for applying for this College. Also i had some of my friends who studied in this College.

This college is autonomous so they teach us about new technologies, not the old stuff. Faculty members are also very good. And the average placement is also good. Approx 99% of students are placed per year.

The few factors which led me choose Techno India was its faculty, friendly college environment with well equipped infrastructure,the average number of companies participating in the recruitment drive and the average package offered by them.

From 3rd year you will become eligible for sitting in the campus placement. Many companies like TCS, CTS, BYJUS, WIPRO come for recruitment and takes many of us. Microsoft too comes but takes only 2-3 top students. The highest placement of last year was 12-13 lakh annually(approx) whereas the average salary lies between 4-5 lakh annually. More than 60% of students who seats for placement get placed.

We took admission in my college through the entrance exam and then meet the councillor then we took admission in July. We already fix my course then the councillor choose the different types of college then most recommended college are take so I took the councillor then goto college then take admission.

every class is given with a coordinator. If you face any problem you can contact them and they do work very fast.

I have chosen this course because I like computers. We don't have to mug up things like arts students, and it's all about logic. They should provide us with more better campus area. Events are mostly conducted. Fests are also held. The campus crowd is average. Many students get scholarships, and extracurricular activities are also held.

I had chosen this course because I like programming when I was in my higher secondary. CSE is on-demand as IT sector of India is booming, so there are high chances of getting a job. The cultural environment of college is also good. The college organises freshers day. Every year cultural and tech fests are organised, and it also organises departmental fests. There are a sports club, music club and dance club where u can pursue your other passion too.

This course is combination of both software and hardware. It is branch where you will learn to operate different instruments by using the software codes. The course is interesting for the students as it has different flavour of core + software field. Our college provide with different scholarships based on merits and minority. Our college organise annual tech fest as well as annual cultural fest. Apart from this we have sports carnival and departmental fest.
