SR University Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Selection Criteria & Application Process
SR Engineering College (SREC) was established in 2002 and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). Admission to the college is done based upon the guidelines of the state government. SR Engineering College, Warangal offers B.Tech and M.Tech in 5 specializations in addition to MBA program. The college offers 720 seats under B.Tech program in multiple specializations and over 200 seats in M.Tech program.
Candidates applying for B.Tech should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with First Class i.e. 60% in the science stream. Candidates who have completed Diploma from a government-recognized institution is also eligible to apply. Only the candidates who possess valid EAMCET score or JEE Main score are eligible to apply for UG program. Candidates applying for M.Tech/MBA program should have passed graduation in engineering or equivalent with at least 50% marks from recognized university.

SR Engineering College Application Process 2024
SR Engineering College (SREC) offers B.Tech and M.Tech programs on the basis of scores obtained in TS EAMCET and TS PGECET respectively.
- Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech and M.Tech should register for TS EAMCET/ TS PGECET after the release of official notification.
- Interested candidates should register through the prescribed form available online based upon qualifying examination and entrance test along with the registration fees.
- Candidate must provide the copy of TS EAMCET/JEE Main/GATE score card (if applicable) while uploading the documents.
- The copy of original documents needs to be submitted offline at the prescribed organizations for further verification
- Counselling fee for OC/BC candidates is INR 1000 whereas it is INR 500 for SC/ST candidates.
At the time of physical counselling at allotted Helpline Centre, candidate must bring the relevant documents for verification which are as under:

I applied to kits warangal and Sr university I got confirmed admission but I joined in Sr university over the others because the placement ratio and co curricular activities we celebrate is too high compare to other colleges .there is enjoyment and study in college.there is no rejection just I want to enjoy the outskirts of city so u selected Sr university.the admission process of my college is eligibility is 10+2 and the exams accepted for our course is jee mains and eapcet .the exams most preferred is eapcet and the overall admission experience is too good with Sr university

- Well equipped classes each class has its own projectors

- Some faculties are not upto standard their way of teaching is not good
- They will just read the ppt in that is displayed on through projector

I got EAPCET seat in this college. I got more highest rank in the EAPCET. So, as per the cutoff of the EAPCET entrance exam , I got seat in SR University in civil engineering. Has I got the highest rank in the EAPCET. May colleges rejected me in the process of admission.

- The university located in a cool area surrounded by the trees and some small forests

This university was highly rated for electronics and communication engineering rather than other colleges First you need to clear the eamcet examination and if you are qualified with merit you can secure admission in the university or you can directly approach the college for admission

- Almost Equal girls ratio the college appearance is nice
- The professors are well educated and specialized in various fields

- The other students behaviour makes gang and fight in college premises
- While placements assistant is not sure and not all get placed because companies are picking less

This college is the top 10 college in my state and fee is reasonable compared to other colleges in top 10 that's the reason I join there I didn't rejected for any colleges to join in our college u have to get good marks in MCET or ECET and the experience of admission process is good

I applied for several colleges. I selected few good colleges across Telangana for TS Eamcet web councilling. So in this college I got seat. I didn't get rejected by any College. Addmission process is simple as much as you think. Just need to visit the college with following certificates that college informs and fill the admission form

- Faculty are really great but we have to make use of the them. They really very supportive, friendly and encouraging.
- Startups will be funded by my University. I we need is a mature Idea.
Dislikes
- There is too much admission intake. There are many students than sufficient.
- Semester end exams are open book. We don't get maximum knowledge.

SR Univerisy is really best in our region. My cousin studies here, I am cam to know completely about the university. I didn't applied for othere colleges. I directly taken admission in this. We can come through EAMCET ot direct admission.

- The thing which I liked the most in our university is our university encourages cultural activities a lot. University engages students in cultural activities through different clubs like dance and music club, drama club, adventure club and many more.
- The second most thing which I liked in our university is various technical fests and hackathons are conducted. Through this students gain a lot of knowledge and practical experience. Hands on experience workshops and expert talks are also conducted .
Dislikes
- The thing which I disliked the most in our university is no proper infrastructure in laboratories . Most of the laboratories don't have proper systems and even projectors are also not working properly . Lab incharges don't have that much experience .
- The second most thing which I disliked the most is strict attendance policy.Faculty are strictly advised that not to give attendance to the students who participate in club activities while regular classes are held.Only 15% less attendance is excused
Admission:
I have choosen this college over other colleges because it is University and provides more internship and job opportunities. We can join in this college by writing EAMCET exam. We can also join with good mains score or IPE score.
Likes
- infrastructure is very good but college needs more blocks to accumulate large no. of students. Constructions should be done fast.
- most of the faculty are from other states and well qualified. This makes student faculty interaction to be in english which increases communication skills
Dislikes
- Eventhough the college premises are vast enough blocks are less.
- University have some School rules like should come to campus by 9.10 and shouldn't leave before 3.30

Admission:
I choose this college because of the placements provided in there. In warangal compared to other colleges SRU provides better placements opportunities.I have applied to KITSW in ECE department and ECI department and selected in ECI but i choose ECE on ECE at SRU. Entrance exam for SRU is TS EAMCET and AP EAMCET and management seats are also available. Cutoff varies every year and for each dept it is different.
