I came to silicon via JEE Mains. The process was to first report at bput in rourkela for registration and then at silicon for admission. The feature like selecting and knowing about the college and course were all held at rourkela, and the final fees payment and hostel checkings and confirmations took place at the college itself in a very peaceful and easy manner.

This institute provides a wide range of oppurtunites in their respective curriculum due to it's immense amount of resources and as it's located in the city. The faculty and administration are well worth and intellectually sound in their respective domains. That made me choose this institute over any other.

Companies such as TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys seem to be the major companies which come for recruitment. Other than these, many other companies also approach college. This year some of my batchmates have also been placed in Amazon.

This year many students have also been placed in Amazon and this comes to us as an opportunity as well as a matter of pride. The Entrepreneur cell of the college can guide us with our ideas if we are serious about any start-up and can also help us financially to do the same.

It is known for it's academic excellence. Situated at such a lovely place. It's a place where you can cherish your talent. It's beyond teaching. But, you will be getting burdened with studies. So if you are not a study loving, book worm type of person, please avoid this college.

Mass recruitment occurs for companies such as Infosys and TCS. Other than that many other companies such as Accenture, Mindtree, Wipro and many more come for campus recruitments. Startup ideas are welcomed by the institute too.

Some of the students also opt for higher studies or work on their own startups. The startups can be funded by the college if they like our idea that we have to present before the Entrepreneur cell. Some successful start-ups such as Lecture Notes and Biggies have been started by Siliconites.
