What is the refund policy of GM University if a student decides to withdraw his/her application form?

Yes, GM University offers fee exemption to students as per the criteria mentioned below:Students with a KCET ranking below 2000 will be exempted from paying tuition fees.Students who have represented in sports at the national/state level are given fee exemptions up to 75%.

How is the faculty at GMIT?

GM Institute of Technologys faculty is very friendly to the students and the ratio is 10:100 and they are helpful and clear students doubts steadily. The faculty is interactive and their approaches are very calm and good. Their teaching method is also excellent. The course curriculum was excellent. It provides all kinds of studies about competitive examinations like gate examination and Indian engineering service.

Which are the most celebrated fests of GMIT?

GM Institute of Technologys most celebrated fest is Stepcone and it is celebrated every year in January and students also celebrate annual day, women's day and sports day. GMIT also hosts a significant annual cultural festival called MALLIKA. This two-day event is a platform for students from diverse backgrounds to showcase their talents in various art forms, sports, and other creative fields, promoting skill development and individual potential.

me and my college life

i liked the faculty of our collage they have a good knowledge about the course. all the teachers are approachable. the provide tutors to the weal students for the guidance.
the campus very beautiful the campus has a lot of greenery there is a 400 m running track backet ball ground and many other sports
the labs are very good all the computers are sufficient and in good condition.

Dislikes

the bus facility is is provided by the collage. bus is very crowded
toilet rooms are very unhygienic not soo clean
canteen food is not soo good taste should be better

Internships Opportunities:

as our internship ast from the forth year of our college they will chose the eligible student to intenship or else we need to apply to the intentship which gives a boom to our resume it helps in getting good job

The faculty is quite strict for the information science and engineering course but the provide the excellent education in the field of our course and the placement is wise also good
For girls and boys ratio it's a pretty good the boys is around 30 students out of 70 and the girls is around 40 students out of 70
The coordination among the students andectures are pretty good they are full supportive r the students they only of opt for the students who are a very talented in the coding and all the disturb and they also encouraged the students who are a low

Dislikes

The things I disliked the lectures are more supportive to the girls students rather than the boys
The Wi-Fi implementation is terrible it cannot take the more than limited users at a time
The more terrible thing is they give the assignments and all the workload projects on a single day to submit

Placement Experience:

The campus placements is negligible or less because the placement officer here is more about having a less alumini connection that makes our college to get the low placement but a good students can get good placement opportunities in recent as one of our college student got 34 lakh

Likes

Creative environment of understanding both girls and boys mutual respect,varying perspective,and equal leadership opportunities among girls and boys.
Teaching quality of education is also very good our professers are also helpful for us
Our college facilities and hostel facilities is also good our college campus and canteens our classrooms liberarary are also very nice

Dislikes

About money they will ask so many times for semester it's to bad if we didn't pay they will not give chance to write exam
About paying money in account because they will not react correctly and. They always scold for us
In some times hostel food is not good only sometimes and very strict rules for girls hostel

Internships Opportunities:

In our college we have average placement,in our college last year 750+ students got placement and yearly 20+ companies will come to our college and it's not enough to our college more companies should come and paypal, Infosys,HP, and other companies will come to our college and other links like linkdin,mongodb, springboard etc we have just registered in our college

Surroundings i mean the greenary around the college and the atmosphere there everyone is best.
I loved the way the faculties teach us and look after our studies
Its an antiragging campus where there is no ragging at all

Dislikes

Lack of events we dont get moore events to celebrate
There is nothing to say i dont like because thats the college i wished to join
There are more things to like than dislike i love the university itself

Internships Opportunities:

Here internships are provided in top.kost companies they never choose going back they always wants to make us as future pillees for society they provide internships in best companies where we can get npt only experience but also bundles of knowledge too

The lecturers are somewhat good. Some of them actually help you to an extent
computer labs are well maintained and good.
Overall college campus is good. Food court, canteen etc

Dislikes

Placement cell is not good. Companies dont visit
College administration is strict only regarding fees
Fee payment is too strict, if not paid they wont allow to write exam

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for campus placements after 6th sem. very few companies had visited the college and only a few students got placed. average package was between 2.5-3 lakhs. nearly 40% of students got placed

I like the college campus very much as it is vast and is good spot overall just to hangout
I loved the college infrastructure in some places
I like that the college has 3 canteens in total

Dislikes

The facility is bit estranged from the students
The wifi in the college is always slow and most of the times not working
The management is very rude about the students who failed to pay the fee on time

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college is not that special as we live in a city where none of the companies exist aslnd most of the jobs offered to the students are just sales related and as there is currently a recession going on we can't expect much

Things I likeed is the infrastructure of the college and well maintained labs

Dislikes

No proper placements facilities,no propper importance for the sports and cultural fest.

Placement Experience:

There are no good placements in the college, only few technical companies are approached us and only we were getting non technical companies. Only few students got placed in the technical company and majority of the students placed in non technical company

Campus and infrastructure is good and college canteen food was best and teaching faculties are good and interact with all students by mentors
gmit only in davanagere having best transportation facility and ragging at college was zero percent.
Cultural and other activities are good and placement was 90 percentage and offer some advanced courses for better placements.

Dislikes

Sports and some activities are need to improve.
Late for some cultural programs and activities.
Lectures nèed to be give quality education for students.

Internships Opportunities:

Some it bt companies are offer and mechanical related companies also like Maruti suzuki, tcs,infosys, tech mahindra ect. Several Projects are also made around 20+ products are patented and 5+ products are started production.

Likes

Infrastructure is organised and greenary
It is 2nd top college in India in terms of greenary
we have spots arena and gym facilities in our college

Dislikes

Strict rules for hostelers and girls too
Class timings too long morning 9 to 5 pm
Lunch break is very short just 50 minutes

Internships Opportunities:

Our college provides internship after 4th semester and 6th semister and we have full semister internship in final year for four months for all the final year students in our college and no stipend provided
