GMIT offers B.Tech in six specializations and a Diploma course in Engineering. Admissions to B.Tech are conducted on merit/rank scored in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or COMEDK counselling for which candidates have to appear for UGET conducted by the competent authority.
