Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Students should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, usually in a relevant subject area. This should be equivalent to at least a UK ‘Upper Second Class (2:1)’ or ‘Lower Second Class (2:2)’ degree.
  • Students from Indian Universities should score 60% in Upper Second Class (2:1)’ or 55% in ‘Lower Second Class (2:2)’ degrees. These are the college minimum scores and particular departments may seek grades at a higher level.
  • Applicant should hold a GPA of 3.0 (Upper Second Class) or 2.6 (Lower Second Class) out of 4.0 or hold a GPA of 6.0 (Upper Second Class) or 5.5 (Lower Second Class) out of 10.

Admission Criteria/Better to Have

2:1 (or international equivalent) in accounting, auditing, financial management, or another subject with a substantial proportion of accounting study. Applicants must have a strong accounting background and in their final two years of study have achieved a 2:1 (60%) in a minimum of four modules covering advanced or specialist accounting theory.


A good second-class honours degree (2:1 preferred) or the equivalent from an Internationally recognised University


Typically you will need to have either:

  • a 2:1 (GPA 3.0/4.0) honours degree in accounting, auditing, or finance. Where a degree is in accounting or auditing, to include one module with a minimum of UK 60% / 2:1, or equivalent, in each of the following subject areas: corporate reporting, finance, and management accounting. Where a degree is in finance, to include two modules in each of the following subject areas: corporate reporting, finance, and management accounting..
  • a university-recognised equivalent academic qualification 
  • or relevant professional experience (appropriate evidence will be required).
