  • Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics – Study data analysis for anatomy and biomechanics research.
  • Chemistry of Materials – Understand material selection for biomedical applications.

  • Digital Systems and Computer Engineering – Learn digital systems theory and apply computing and electronics to solve problems.
  • Engineering Modelling and Simulation Techniques – Study methods for solving mathematical models and differential equations.
  • Industrial Design and Product Case Studies – Explore product design, manufacturing, materials, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Integrated Group Design Project – Work on engineering projects, applying skills to design and produce components/products.
  • Tissue Engineering, Biomaterials and Biocompatibility – Study tissue engineering, biomaterials, and their medical applications.
  • Biomedical Imaging and Sensing – Develop and apply biosensors for medical processes with focus on reliability and accuracy.

  • Optional Year-Long Work Placement – Gain practical experience in the industry for a year.
  • No Placement – Progress directly to the final year (Year 3) if not taking a placement
