Academic Qualification

• A Levels: AAB including Mathematics.
• Extended Project: Qualification (EPQ) ABB with A in the EPQ.
• Contextual Offers: Reduced entry requirements for eligible students.
• T Levels: T Levels are not currently accepted.
• GCSE: 4/C in English and 4/C in Mathematics.
• Subject Requirements:
  • Mathematics (A Level required).

  • Science A Levels (England only): Practical endorsement "Pass" required.

• BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate: Acceptable at grade Distinction* alongside BB at A Level including A Level Mathematics.

• BTEC Level 3 Diploma: Distinction* Distinction* in relevant BTEC alongside A Level Mathematics grade B. Accepted BTECs include Aeronautical, Aerospace, Construction, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Engineering.

• BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma: D*DD in acceptable BTEC, plus B in A Level Mathematics. (Not accepted without B in A Level Mathematics).

• International Baccalaureate (IB): 35 overall, including 5 at Higher Level Mathematics.

• Irish Leaving Certificate: H1,H1,H2,H2,H2,H3, including H2 in Higher Mathematics. Minimum H6 in Higher English or O3 in Ordinary English.

• Scottish Higher/Advanced Higher: Pass Scottish Advanced Highers with grades AAB including Mathematics..

• Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced: Acceptable at grade B alongside AA in A Levels including A Level Mathematics.

• Cambridge Pre-U Diploma: D3 in Cambridge Pre-U Principal Subject (equivalent to A-Level grade A), M2 in Cambridge Pre-U Principal Subject (equivalent to A-Level grade B).

International Qualifications

• Indian applicants must meet UK entry requirements; if not, a Foundation Certificate from the University of Liverpool International College guarantees admission.

Country Specific Requirement (India)

• Standard XII (CBSE/CISCE): 75% or above required.
• Standard XII (State Board): 80% or above (Accepted State Boards only; Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh,Uttarakhand & NIOS not accepted).
• Mathematics Requirement: Must have studied Mathematics or Computer Science in XII.
• Medium of Instruction Education must be completed in English.

• Cambridge IGCSE First Language English 0500: Grade C overall, with a minimum grade 2 in speaking and listening (separately endorsed).
• Cambridge IGCSE First Language English 0990: Grade 4 overall, with Merit in speaking and listening.
• Cambridge IGCSE Second Language English 0510/0511: 0510: Grade C overall, with a minimum grade 2 in speaking (separately endorsed). 0511: Grade C overall.
• Cambridge IGCSE Second Language English 0993/0991: 0993: Grade 5 overall, with a minimum grade 2 in speaking (separately endorsed). 0991: Grade 5 overall.
• International Baccalaureate English A: Literature Grade 4 at Standard Level or Grade 4 at Higher Level.
• International Baccalaureate English B: Grade 6 at Standard Level or Grade 5 at Higher Level.
