Students will gain practical classroom experience on the at, teaching in their own workplace and/or through lesson observations. They will develop your ability to create multimedia resources and teaching materials through hands-on activities. There will be the opportunity to pursue a specialism, such as English as a second or another language, teaching English for Academic Purposes, teaching English to young learners, teacher training, or English language teaching management.
Students will have the skills and experience to be a more effective English language teacher, gain a promotion to a managerial position or enter a range of teaching-related careers, such as the writing and publishing of teaching materials and resources. They could also choose to further their studies and obtain a Ph.D. in a related area.
