Commercial clients such as developers and architects increasingly require professional garden designers to consult with, commission landscape and garden designs and to aid with planning applications as well as the management of on-site implementation.
Designed to blend creative and artistic passion with a scientific understanding of horticulture and plants, this programme takes advantage of the extensive established gardens at the College, as well as the links with heritage gardens and industry.
- The study of creative arts combined with natural science.
- Graduates often take up positions as garden designers and landscape consultants.
- Students are encouraged to visit a range of gardens, parks and landscapes.
- The programme involves both theoretical knowledge and hands-on, practical activities.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree (4-years) from a recognized institution or an equivalent degree from the university with a 55% GPA.
- Students should have at least 6 months of patient-facing experience.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed the undergraduate degree from a recognized institution with a 55%.
- Students should have 6 months of experience in this field.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
