Academic Qualification

• Requirement for Level-1 (4-Years Study):
  • CBSE/ISC/XII Standard: 65% overall with recommended subject English.
  • A-level, GCE: Grade CCC with recommended subject English.
  • IB (International Baccalaureate): 28 points, including 5, 5, 4 at higher level.
  • HNC/HND, SQA Higher National: Relevant HNC with B in the Graded Unit.
  • BTEC: Relevant BTEC Extended Diploma with MMM, no essential subjects.
  • Higher / Advanced Higher, SQA: Standard BBBC / Widening Access BBCC.
• Requirement for Level-2 (3-Years Study):
  • CBSE/ISC/XII Standard: 80% overall with 80% in essential subjects, English + another subject.
  • A-level, GCE: Grade ABB with essential subjects English + another subject.
  • IB (International Baccalaureate): 32 points, including 6, 5, 5 at higher level.
  • HNC/HND, SQA Higher National: Relevant HND with BB in the Graded Units.
  • BTEC: Relevant BTEC Extended Diploma with DDM, no essential subjects.
  • Higher / Advanced Higher, SQA: AB at Advanced Higher + BB at Higher with essential subject Advanced Higher English.

NOTE:

• AB at Advanced Higher: Grades A and B in two subjects at the Advanced Higher level.
• BB at Higher: Grades B and B in two subjects at the Higher level.
• DDM: Distinction, Distinction, Merit. Equivalent to high A-level grades.
• MMM: Merit, Merit, Merit. Equivalent to mid-range A-level grades.
• BBBC: Grades B, B, B, and C in four subjects at the Higher level.
• BBCC: Grades B, B, C, and C in four subjects at the Higher level for widening access applicants.
• ABB: Grades A, B, and B in three subjects at the A-level.
• CCC: Grades C, C, and C in three subjects at the A-level.
• B: Grade B in the Graded Unit of an HNC (Higher National Certificate) qualification.

• BB: Grades B and B in the Graded Units of an HND (Higher National Diploma) qualification.

Pre-Sessional English courses.

• If English language requirements are not met and 
• Recieve Conditional offer from the University then, take pre-sessional English courses to fulfill the entry requirements.

• IELTS Academic: Overall 6.0, Writing 6.0, Listening 5.5, Reading 5.5, Speaking 5.5.
• Pearson PTE Academic UKVI: Overall 64, with Minimum: 64 in Writing , 59 in (Listening, Speaking & Reading).
• TOEFL iBT: Overall 80, Writing 19, Listening 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20.
• LanguageCert Academic: Minimum grade 60.
• LanguageCert ESOL for UKVI: Overall B2 minimum: 36 , minimum: 36 in Writing, 33 in (Listening, Reading, Speaking).
• Trinity ISE: ISE II Merit, Writing (Distinction), Listening, Reading, Speaking (Merit).
