- Master of Science in Sport Management at Coventry University is a 1-year program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
- This program is also offered on a part-time basis for a duration of 2 years.
- Students will have the opportunity to hear from industry professionals through guest lectures and also attend the Faculty of Business and Law’s Employment Fair, which sees over 25 companies attend, including those within the sports sector.
- Students are taught by expert staff who have a mix of practitioner experience and academic expertise, and who have published various academic works on different parts of the sports sector during their careers.
- The teaching methods will include lectures, seminars, industry visits, field trips, individual and group mini-project activities, videos, guest lectures, peer-assessment, presentations, and case study based learning.
- Within the first and second semester, students should have up to 14 contact hours of teaching a week.
- Students get the opportunities to participate in industry field trips to visit sports teams and facilities, which in the past have included Anfield in Liverpool and Croke Park in Dublin.
- This master's program provides students with the additional option to apply for a work placement opportunity during their first semester.
