- Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance at Coventry University is a 3-year program.
- It is an on-campus honours program offered on a full-time basis.
- This program is also offered 4 years full-time (study abroad or work placement).
- In this program, students will study a range of topics that cover the basics of accounting and finance, including financial accounting, management accounting, mathematics, statistics, and business economics.
- Students will be taught by lecturers, some of which are qualified accountants with substantial experience in practice and industry, many with active research areas.
- Within the first and second year, students will have up to 12 contact hours of teaching a week which includes:
- Medium group teaching: 6 hours of practical classes, seminars, or workshops per week.
- Large group teaching: 6 hours of lectures each week.
- Students get the opportunity to apply for an internship or sandwich placement included companies such as Tesco, the NHS, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), IBM, Toys R Us, as well as a large number of small to medium-sized accountancy firms and organizations.
- This course is accredited and recognized by the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
- Coventry Business School was ranked excellent in 2019 by Eduniversal, an annual ranking of business schools in over 150 countries.
