Our MSc in Astrophysics is a full-time degree course which aims to provide specialist training and an edge in a highly competitive recruitment market to students who wish to work in the field of astrophysics. On the course, we will cover theoretical, observational and instrumental areas in astrophysics and other scientific disciplines. We encourage you to develop a critical awareness of current research problems and new insights at the forefront of astronomy and astrophysics. We will also discuss the working context of the modern astrophysicist, including the safety, ethical, and research environments.
On completing the course students should be able to pursue a career in academic research, physical science industrial practice, research and development, or in other highly-skilled numerate careers.

- Cardiff University is known for it's program in Astrophysics, so it was my first choice to do so.
- The professors are very good, they are always open to meeting you even after office hours. They are friendly and help in guiding you. The place to stay is very good, everything is walkable distance and so you don't have to spend a lot of money on travel.
Dislikes
- The campus is quiet scattered, so the campus you are supposed to go to might actually be very far away from your accommodation. The food sold in the canteen of the university is quite expensive when compared with the food outside. The class hours are very scattered, by having one or two classes in a day during the afternoon.
Course Curriculum
It is very good, the group project started with a little bit of community building and then later we get allotted our micro-projects based on the degree we've chosen.
