I have been shortlisted for all of the 4 universities based on my good academic record. I choose teeside University because it is economical and developing really fast. I am happy that I chose Teeside University. I think the most important thing to get accepted in of university is your academic record, and beyond that, it is your projects, particularly if you're applying for an MSc. I chose Teeside University because the subjects that are included in the Master's program of Mechanical Engineering are really interesting and helpful in industry. The best thing about a university campus which has everything what student want. There are some challenges like searching ifor nternships and jobs. The University placement cell is really good, but there is no term like campus placements. I applied for 2020 January intake. There was no special factor which influence my decision to go in the January intake, but I got enough time to apply to universities after finishing my bachelor's in May 2019. The admission process roughly takes around 2-3 months, which includes getting a conditional offer letter. I was on a student exchange program, so it was different for me. However, I have applied to 3 to 4 colleges and received admissions from all of them. The universities to which I applied and was shortlisted were the University of Birmingham, the University of Liverpool, the University of Leicester, Leeds University, and Teesside University. I was not rejected from any university I applied to. Again, not applicable to me as I was an exchange student, I was sent there through my college, but from what I have heard from my friends, the process is rather simple, and they glided through it without many hiccups. The admission process for the university is cooperative for students, and they won't have much trouble applying. They applied to the university above others because the admission and the tuition fees were less compared to other universities. You would be accepted by the university if you score more than 65% in your high school and if you have above 90 in English in cbse board, you are also exempted from IELTS. Normally, students apply for the summer intake as it is usually after their high school graduation, and it does not require them to waste time. The admission takes around 1-2 months, and I would advise applying for the admissions when you are completing your graduation, and don't wait for the completion of the graduation; complete it first so that you have enough time for everything, and it does not overwhelm you with deadlines....Read More

Main reason was the course that I want to do, which is a Master in Digital Forensics. The admission process was straighforward, i had the agent who made it very easy. I applied to only one university — Teesside University — as it offered the exact The course I wanted was a Master’s in Digital Forensics. I was accepted on my first attempt, so I didn’t apply anywhere else. Since this was my only choice, and I met all the requirements, I didn’t face any rejections or waitlists. The main reason I chose this university was the specific course I wanted to study — a Master’s in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigation. Not many universities offered it in the way I wanted, so it was an easy choice for me. The admission process was quite straightforward. I worked with an education agent, which made everything much simpler. The eligibility requirement was an overall IELTS score of 6, which I had, along with good marks in my 10th standard. I also received a scholarship based on my academic performance. Before applying, I had done my research and found out about all the services the university provided, like free airport pickup and drop-off to a location near the campus. They also helped with things like collecting my BRP card, opening a bank account, document verification, and showing new students around the campus. These services were definitely helpful, but I do feel the process could have been explained in a clearer and more organised way. It's been 5 years; I don't remember the exact timeline but there are two intakes for my course. September and February. the course starts in September and students who join in February start the second semester first and finish the first semester in September. I prepared for the IELTS exam and targeted to get the admission in sep 2019 which was successful. there was some courses that did not require any English test; just previous education had to be in the English medium. For the documents, it was hard to get them all together: 10th and 12th marksheets, college certificates, LOR, and statement of purpose. guardian support document. there was an on-call interview as well for me but it was simple, just to confirm my identity, not the actual interview like other students had. The eligible criteria was an overall IELTS score of 6. and i have good marks in 10th and get a scholarship as well. I only applied for 1 college, which was Teesside University and I got admitted. The initial status was a conditional offer, which then became unconditional when I passed TUELT which was an English language test conducted by the University itself No, I only applied for Teesside University and got admitted The location was cheap to live in, especially for an international student who comes to the UK for the very first time. I followed the instagram handle of different communities in the University and found out there are many programmes which are welcoming for an international student. The teaching excellence frameworkwas silver when I applied which is good and assures they provide quality teaching. The admission process was straightforward. I applied to the university and then received a conditional offer letter. The condition was to pass an english language test. You could either take an IELTS or there was an English language test provided by the University itself which was called TUELT (Teesside University English Language Test) The eligibility criteria were that you should have secured a 2:2 for a numerical bachelor's degree. The overall experience was tension-free. I applied for the September 2021 intake. That is the major intake and that was the reason for me to choose that one. The admission took about 2 months. The overall time depends on when you receive CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies). Then, you will apply for your visa, which typically takes about 15 working days. I have applied only for Teesside University since I received feedback that it's the only university that will respond to me fast, as I was a bit late when applying for other universities. But still, I faced the issue that my CAS was delayed a bit, and I had to ask a lot of times and do a lot of follow-ups over email. No other university was applied to from my side. The course structure was excellent and was according to the latest trends. The modules were exactly what I wanted to study during my course. The modules that I have studied were Mobile Application Development and Operating System Concepts. Data visualisation using Power BI, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence languages like Java and Python which were meeting my requirements. I have applied for the September intake of 2023. The admission process lasted for around 2 months. Initially, the bank statement was provided with a balance of 27 lac. Then I received a conditional offer letter and then the final unconditional offer letter. I had received the final letter after almost 1.5 months of application. I applied to 4 universities 1. University of Anglia Ruskin (Shortlisted but didn't proceed with further formalities as I had already received an offer from Teesside University) 2. University of Glasgow (rejected because they accept students with stronger academic profiles) 3. University of Teesside (Admitted) 4. University of Aberdeen (Accepted, but I discovered that Teesside University was in a better position for Computer Science than Aberdeen, which is why I decided to attend Middlesbrough) In short, affordability, inclusiveness and cutting-edge technology research, and ease of paperwork with a quick response from the university regarding any admission-related query.  Interview-Based. Once they shortlist your profile, you will be asked to appear for an interview. Thereafter, you will be notified through registered email about their admission decision. Finally, when they accept you, they will issue you a CAS, a confirmation of acceptance of studies letter, which you can show to immigration authorities to obtain a visa for your stay in the country.  You will be shortlisted based on your BTECH CGPA and the technical knowledge you possess, accessed by the interviewer during the interview. If the interview performance is good, you may end up receiving a scholarship of up to £2500 each year, which in my case I received.  Visa process takes time, so please have sufficient time from the day your CAS letter arrives to the day you get your visa to arrive in the UK. If the visa doesn't arrive on time, then chances are there that you will miss out on lectures, and you will be tagged as a latecomer by the university, which may sometimes increase your hardships in the new place, as per my own experience. Overall admission experience was great for me. The 2021 autumn intake, given the minimal scope of pure science research in India, which I believe is primarily conducted in top-notch government colleges like the old IITs and IISC Bangalore, and the intense competition, coupled with the reservation system to gain admission to these institutes, is next level. I decided to pursue my higher education in a better nation where research innovation truly matters.  I chose UK for two reasons, first, it is English-speaking, and the other one is it is basically its reputation as an international study destination. Specific courses offered: MS in game designing, the best game designing program in the world. It is better than Cambridge and Oxford, as per some sources. Career Opportunities- because of the harsh immigration policies of the new UK government, it's better not to keep such high expectations. You won't be offered a sponsored position unless you are someone with extraordinary brains, with a bagful of gold medals and dozens of certifications. Student life is pretty good, with a good work-life balance, however, you won't be getting part-time jobs that easily to support yourself during your studies. Please bear that in mind before planning your finances. It is because of so much overcrowding of other nationality students and because of the visa work restrictions of 20 hours paid work per week. By looking at my financial conditions and other parameters i choose teesside for pursuing. 1. As mentioned before affordability and my desired duration of course and subjects were matching each other. 2.Online application>>shortlist letter>>documents submission>>english language test>>credibility interview>>unconditional offer letter >>deposit/fee payment >>CAS number for visa>>visa application >> booking a window seat flight. 3.Most of the eligibility requirements are mentioned in college portal already either its IELTS more than 6.5band or an english language test interview on skype. Very tough part once you actually start the application procedure all the documents must match with your previous records and your financial conditions you have to prove before leaving. Its good to start to prior 3-4months of any intake. I had applied for September intake as it was the nearest boarding fall to the university.
