What Students Say
Likes
- Good campus
- Very Flexible
- One of the prestigious universities
Course Curriculum
- Well, we are more than 200+ students and all are Indians mostly, courses are good if we have a work experience.
- It depends upon the timetable, usually we have 2 classes a day, 3 sometimes. 9-11 2-3 4-6 likewise.
Admission Experience
- As a mechanical engineering backround, i wanted to try the management side, and university of Leicester offered me a scholarship worth 5000£. It was affordable at that time. So both aligned and I took that.
- Waiver - 80% above in higher secondary, so i got an unconditional offer letter, without any IELTS etc
Faculty
- Dr park jae hawn, imran, mukunth. They are knowledgeable.
- All the faculty members are well-versed. 1: entire classroom. Sometimes 2: entire class.
Campus Life
- Everything is available in the university of Leicester, the one who knocks, the door will open.
- Likewise if you have personal interests, then you can know everything.
Part Time Jobs
- You have lots of part-time opportunities available, but not in Leicester, away from 30-40 miles.
- We have agencies here, you can approach them and they will tell their requirements.
- Basic NI pay. Starts from 12£-14£ per hour. Campus part-time jobs will be tough sometimes, to select.
Placement
- Currently the job market here is not as good. I'm working in a warehouse, well most students do.
- After graduating its only 5-20% people who secured job, even with sponsorship. I may be wrong but that's my pov.
Accommodation
- Online platforms, WhatsApp groups, amber student, uni living. 350£-400£ if you're a student and you have to pay upfront for an year.
Exams
- Currently i don't know about the requirements, but i gave SOP and 3 LOR .
Fees
- 16750£ with scholarship 5000£. 21750£ without scholarship.
