Colleges Where I Was Accepted
Reason for choosing my college
This was the only university that had a Space Industry-related course and I got an opportunity to go to the SEEDs project in this course. I am looking forward to the project and the first sem was nice. Now we have a practical session coming off so looking forward to it.
Colleges Where I Was Rejected
Reason for Rejection
I did not apply to any other colleges as I wanted to do the MSc in Space Exploration course. I am excited about the SEEDs part of the project in the course.

Tips to enhance your application
Be as authentic as possible and give the pre-CAS interview with full confidence. Prepare for the interview by jotting down some basic questions about your self and why you want to do this course and what are your expectations.
Admission Experience
I choose Leicester because it is the Space City of the UK with the Space Park and National Space Center located here. So, this was a better place if I wanted to enter the space industry. Then, the second fact is there was also a significant amount of Indian diaspora here, so I wouldn't feel far from home.
Class Schedule
Its usual schedule is quite good, with classes not starting before 9 am and not extending after 6 pm. Sometimes, the days have more free sessions than others, but overall, I would say the schedule is quite balanced.
Faculty
All the faculty members are good and are working in the space industry on some real space missions. So it's a good experience to get knowledge from them and ask them about the real-world problems that they face outside of the classroom.
Campus Life
There are a lot of freshers’ events happening for students. Along with that, the University also has other events and regular job fairs going on so I would say that it's a very good environment for students.
Part Time Jobs
Most of the Indians prefer working in some hotel as a waiter or in a warehouse. As there are a lot of Indian people living in Leicester, there are a lot of Indian hotels, and they would hire Indian people.
There are some RA and SU roles available for students so you can find a job on the campus itself if you are lucky. Other than that, the part-time job market is quite competitive and you would at least have to try for a month or two before landing an actual job.
Placement
The job prospects after the course are wide as you can either go for a PhD or work in the space industry. The MSc. project plays a huge role in it and as I still haven't started my project I won't be able to provide any details about it but I feel the course is a good stepping stone for anyone who wants to enter the space industry.
