I opted for Maritime Law at Swansea University since its faculties are pioneers in contributing to the literature in maritime law. It was always my first choice thus, my decision was a no-brainer. My experience at this Uni has been enriching. For career opportunities, one has to look at themselves. Please do not undertake this course if you don't have any work experience beforehand as it will be difficult for you.

Course Curriculum

10

Their course curriculum is updated. They recently added a module on Artificial Intelligence. With respect to experience, you get some internship opportunities through Uni.

Exams

IELTS was a requirement, however, one can claim an exemption if their bachelor's has happened in English. CBSE 10th - 9.6 CGPA CBSE 12th - 82.4% NLU Nagpur Law - 7.59 CGPA (UG) Requirements - I did submit my SOP, LORs and my CV. For LORs, I got both of them from my professors. If you are working then you should take it from your employer. There were no interviews for my course.

Placement

5

The post-study placement at my University is less, you will be on your own. You will have to find your internships as well as placements.

Fees

18600 GBP, it usually increases by 3000 GBP every year.

Faculty

10

Faculty at my University are approachable, one can email them to book an appointment for a Zoom call or in-person meeting. They will clarify your doubts, if any. They won't help you with referrals for part-time jobs, however, for legal internships or job opportunities, they shall help you.

Campus Life

They have ample extracurricular activities on campus like yoga, sports, dance and many more. The Uni has over 100 societies, one can join whichever society they wish to. They have facilities like a library, gym, pool, study spaces, eateries, etc.

Hostel

10

I was living in University Accommodation which had an ensuite room with a shared kitchen. I was sharing my kitchen with 8 girls. My rent was 169 GBP per week. One can look for student accommodation located outside the campus but one will have to travel to campus for min 4 days a week. It is preferred to look for accommodation which is near to the campus as it is easy to navigate every day.
