I chose this university as this has a higher ranking in the healthcare sector, admission process is also flexible and can apply 3-4 months prior to the course starting as well. I missed the September intake deadline which was in April/May due to my passport issues and this was the best option I had for the January intake.

Course Curriculum

9

It is very useful as the university is research-based. Regular updates regarding the workshops conducted around the UK. Detailed laboratory classes.

Faculty

8

We have a wide range of faculty. We have Noble Gareth as our associate professor who teaches us leadership and innovation in research. Jon Tyrel is one of the professors whose way of teaching is liked by almost everyone as he tries to interact with students, making sure they understand.

Campus Life

8

The campus has a decent infrastructure, there are many student union groups, cultural, religion and sports-oriented. There are about 80+ sports clubs and also country-wide clubs.

Placement

8

Since the university curriculum for my course is on point, it is easy to get an accreditation and you can directly work with NHS or private labs.

Accommodation

Initially, I opted for student accommodation, which cost me around 540 pounds per month, including bills. After 6 months, I moved with my friends to an individual house closer to the university. Here I pay around 360 pounds, including bills, which is very affordable. Accommodation-wise, you can say Swansea is very affordable for a student, as you will be paying around $300-500 per month. Student accommodation can be a little costly otherwise.

Exams

- No IELTS required if you score well in 11&12th standard but I have an IELTS score of 7.0. - SSC - 87%; Intermediate- 85% ; Bachelor’s life sciences - 70% - Requirements: Yes, I had to submit my LORs and SOPs, 2 required from bachelors, and for SOP you need to give your introduction, background, why you chose this course, university and UK.

Fees

19600 pounds but you will be awarded a bursary of 3000 pounds if you’re from INDIA .
