What Students Say

- Well, As I have been doing a joint degree being delivered by 4 different universities, I attended three universities in person in three different countries. All these three universities were very different in terms of facilities. In terms of accommodation, the Tallinn University dorm was cheap and available but the university accommodation at Glasgow University was costly and not easily available. The same was the case of the university in Ireland.
- The library opening hours at university of Glasgow and Maynooth University were very good as these were bigger universities than Tallinn University.
- Student support systems as in counselling services were good at all universities.

- But please note as I was doing one semester at each university that was one of the reasons I was facing difficulty in terms of having acc. But it could have been arranged better.
Well, I wanted to change my field of work and experience an international educational system. So, I applied for this course as it seemed very fascinating to me to do a master's in 3 different countries. I got a fully funded scholarship as well. My overall experience has been very enriching as I get to travel, study with people from diverse backgrounds, and experience different cultures and academic environments. My tuition fee, living cost, health insurance and airfare were all covered except my visa application fee. So, it was not that stressful financially for me to pursue this degree which I understand is very expensive if you are going to do it self-funded. Universities like the University of Glasgow are very reputed in the top 100 ranking for their quality of education, research and other things. Overall, my experience was good but definitely very challenging and stressful at times as well as I have been moving to a new country every semester which means finding a place to stay, visa applications settling in a new place and constant planning of travel, academic stuff and other things. It was challenging no doubt but very much worth to be experienced.
Course Curriculum
As my course was a social science course in Adult Education for Social Change, It was a very intense research-based course with a lot of reading, assignments and a master thesis and placement in an NGO non-paid. The curriculum was good but I would like to have a more practical approach as well, for working in NGOs as well, we need digital and practical skills.
Faculty
The teacher and studio ratio was good as my class had only 22 people. The teachers are approachable quiet and ready to help and guide you. My Supervisor Larissa Yogi has been really understanding, supportive and kind.
Campus Life
No doubt, Campus Infrastructures are very good. As I studied at three universities, all three universities has good library particularly Maynooth and Glasgow university . They have sports clubs and other clubs, cultural events keep happening. You need to find your interest area but there is something for everybody.
Placement
As I am currently in the last semester of my master's, I am looking for jobs now. There are campus career services which organise placements and CV reviews but you are the one who needs to do most of the job like finding opportunities through the university career & employability website, you need to do applications and the job depends a lot on your profile as how many years of experience you have and what is your field of education. Also, the salary varies according to the domain and the country where you want to work.
Accommodation
I lived in Glasgow where the rent can be from 400-800 pounds for one room depending on the area, travel costs 100 pounds, groceries and another thing 300-500 depending. Ireland rent for a room - 600-800 euros Tallinn, Estonia - 235 euros for a double sharing room, you can rent a room in the city from 400 euros onwards.
Exams
- IELTS 6.5, A bachelor's degree in any subject. Two recommendation letters, CV on Europass, Motivation letter, Transcripts, and Interview. - 10th ( CBSE ) - 95%; 12th ( CBSE ) -72 %; BA in French - 66 %, I have studied in Chhapra, Bihar for my school education - Requirements: Yes, I had to write a motivation letter in 1200 words about why I am motivated to do this program. Well, I tailored my motivation letter as per my experiences in academic courses, and volunteering, and also tried to connect how these all are relevant to understand the course I am applying. I also mentioned that I am a first-generation student and I had to mention my topic of interest for my dissertation as well. I had an interview after getting selected for the first stage where two of my faculties interviewed me and asked questions like what is my motivation for this course, Will I be able to adapt to the challenges and pressure of so much frequent adaption as the nature of the course demands.
Fees
My programme fee was 18000 euros.
