I chose this university as it ranked very high in the life science field, that was a major factor. Another was that it had a very good curriculum.
Course Curriculum
Course curriculum was very relevant and updated. We were given some industrial exposure and got to meet some people from industries.
Faculty
Faculties are very friendly and approachable. They will take time to clear your doubts and are always available whenever you need them.
Campus Life
There are lot of extracurricular options in our university. There's always some event happening, very lively environment. Excellent lab facilities. Wifi is available everywhere. Good gym with a swimming pool, steam and sauna.
Placement
Not sure about this. Still figuring it out. But mostly everybody has good opportunities to meet with recruiters.
Accommodation
I got student accommodation but little far away from university at the city center. But it's really good. I have an ensuite room with a shared kitchen and my accommodation has a gym and common study areas. Monthly expenses: 800 pounds a month for rent. Plus 250-300 pounds for other expenses.
Exams
- IELTS I had 8/9. Statement of purpose and letter of recommendation are other requirements. - 10th - 540/600 Icse- 90%; 12th - 455/500 Isc- 92% VIT btech Biotechnology - 7.6 gpa - Requirements: I had to upload SOP and LOR highlighting, my experience with work and internships and why I wanted to do this course. No interviews .
Fees
28000 pounds but I think it's increased this year.
