I joined this university as I was attracted to this University since my course is research-oriented and this particular University places well in the world ranking in terms of research. The modules were laid out well and practical laboratory courses are the highlight. Coming to the admissions process - it was very easy and all online. Any hassles mid-way will be taken care of by the Uni admin department.

Course Curriculum

8

Overall it is a really good course with a lot of lab sessions and report/essay writing. There are extensive assignments which is a good thing since it will hone your report-writing skills. This is of utmost importance in the research field. The evaluation and marking are very intricate and strict. Have to be precise in assignments. There was no particular industry exposure but just a one-day industry trip. Overall, have to be mentally prepared for this one-year course and do well since the way it is put is different than in India.

Faculty

8

- Students - 45-50K - Staff are approachable offline/online - Dr. Sean Colloms

Campus Life

10

Lots of clubs and events specific to a lot of ethnicities (Indian clubs for example). Sports, arts, games etc are available for leisure. Research facilities, libraries, WiFi, and sports facilities all of them are top-notch.

Placement

4

No placements. Have to look for jobs personally by ourselves. But there are a lot of CV masterclasses available in University. Median salary - 25 to 30k GBP per year for this course. Time taken to find a job - Almost 6 months after graduation due to the ongoing horrible job market situation.
