I applied to following colleges: 1) University of Aberdeen - Admitted - confirmed 2) Warwick University - Rejected (because I didn't have enough work experience in analytics sector - and didn't have enough computer related modules in my bachelor's program) 3) Newcastle University (Admitted - confirmed and Accepted- I chose Newcastle University , because it had a great module structure and professors) 4) Nottingham Trent University - Admitted - confirmed 5) Jacob University Breme - Admitted - confirmed 6) National College of Ireland - Admitted - confirmed I chose Newcastle University because it had a great module structure and professors and with it being with National Innovation centre for data , I was really inclined towards it and I got an internship and my did my final thesis with National Innovation Cenntre for Ageing. I started my application process with applying to the university, uploading all the required documents asked by them. Then I was shorlisted, and was asked to submit an essay about the data ethic. After submitting that, I got a conditional acceptance offer where I was asked to make a small deposit in order to confirm my acceptance. As I confirmed my acceptance I was sent an unconditional offer from the university for my course. The university required 2:1 BSc hons degree or our equivalent bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or an engineering discipline with programming experience. I appeared for IELTS - for english proficiency test and I had an overall band score of 8.0 (with L:9, R: 8.5, W: 7 and S:7) - the minimum scores required for IELTS is 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills). The overall admissions experience was really smooth , and they were extremely helpful and had a very clear communication throughout the process. The international office set up induction sessions as well (like pre departure, and international welcome etc that made the process really easy). They also connected us in whatsapp groups - and that made the things a little less overwhelming as we were properly introduced and we got to know each other and that made a world of difference. I applied for September intake . That is when most of the courses are offered and in January intake there are some limited courses that are offered. September intake is comparatively better, as loads of students are coming and there are high chances of making connections and blending easily and not having to deal with extreme cold weather of UK upon arrival. The admission process took almost 2-3 months . I first applied in May and received my acceptance mid of May (around 18th of May) Upon submitting the essays and other required documents I was given my conditional offer in mid of June, and after making the deposit as per the conditions I received my uncoditional offer in July and during that time, I already started my Visa Process, TB test, Tuition fee payments everything and was done by August end....Read More

I applied to the following Universities: Exeter University, Newcastle University, Heriott Watt University, Loughborough University, University of Stirling, Liverpool University, Portsmouth University, Swansea University, Strathclyde University. I received confirmed admission from all above except Liverpool and Loughborough.  I received rejection from Liverpool and Loughborough University. Liverpool's rejection was my undergraduate study specialization. I completed my undergraduate studies in Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Liverpool University wanted students from non-cs background for MSc Data Science. Newcastle University was my first choice for the MSc Data Science program because of its modules, its membership in the prestigious Russell Group, and its location in Newcastle upon Tyne, one of the friendliest cities in the United Kingdom. For admission you have to start your application from as early as September and you will get your response within 2-4 weeks from the date of your application. You can apply for an English waiver through MOI(Medium of Instruction) or through IELTS with a score of 6.5. Process is simple: you should apply with all your academic transcripts and experience certificate if you have any and Statement of Purpose. I applied for September Intake as September intake is one of the major intakes in the UK . University of Russell Group take admission only in September intake. January intake is also open for students in universities other than Russel group. I applied in September 2023 and received confirmation within 2 weeks of my application. I choose Newcastle University for my MSc in Cybersecurity because of its strong academic reputation, practical course structure, and excellent research in cybersecurity . University of Bath- Accepted, Newcastle University- Accepted, City University London- Rejected, Warwick University- Rejected.  I believe I was rejected due to a-lot of applicants having better percentages. The time taken for Newcastle and Bath was not that time-taking. I got an offer within 2 months of applying. I chose Newcastle over the others because it is a lively city and everyone is very friendly. Moreover, since it is a student city you get a lot of student benefits. Newcastle has amazing nightlife and safety. Unlike other mainstream cities, it is not always busy and rushing, it is more self-paced. The process at Newcastle was really simple and easy, I applied through UCAS and heard back to send further details in 2 weeks and then I got a conditional letter. I gave the IELTS test and also scored well in English which they were basically looking for. The eligibility criteria for my course was any score above 70% and IELTS 5 bands.  The overall experience has been excellent in terms of application.  I applied for the September intake as it was the best one for me as I didn’t want a long break after my schooling. I wanted to jump into university straight away.  Initially, I received a conditional offer within 1-2 months. The condition was the results of 12 grade should be more than 80 as my predicted grade that I submitted was 90%. I have applied to 5 College; they are 1. Newcastle University 2. Sheffield University 3. University of Leeds 4. Cranfield University 5. University of Liverpool I got shortlisted in all 5 Universities I got the admission offer from all five universities mentioned above. No, I haven't received any rejections. I accepted the offer of Newcastle University. And I didn't get rejected in any of the universities. The main reason is that it is in the Northeast, where the cost of living will be less comparatively. And also, it is a part of the Russell Group. And for the safety concerns. We have to make an application and wait till we hear it from them. Once they send a conditional offer, we have to make our deposit fee of 1500 pounds to receive the unconditional offer. Once we receive the unconditional offer, we have to wait to get our CAS to get our visa. They will send the draft first; once we confirm our details are correct, they will issue the final CAS. A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in any subject. You also need to have a good basic level of numeracy equivalent to UK GCSE or above. IELTS is not required, but we should get a "medium of instruction" certificate from our college, where we did our bachelor's degree. It was seamless. I haven't faced any challenges, as the IT support was brilliant. Whenever I have doubts or an issue, I'll just raise a query in my dashboard, which is normally answered in one or two days. I applied to the Sep 2024 intake. There are no such factors; I just decided to go in September. It took around 9 months.
