Condition of SRI SANKARA DENTAL COLLAGE

Only positive i should tell about my college is in the quality of faculties. But due to some issues about the salary problem by the management causes some of theavailable faculties discontinued the job. The infrastructure is pathetic in the college. No available materials are there. No quality cafeteria. No canteen, lack of patients etc. There is huge load of negatives about the college

BDS is 4.5 YEAR+ 1 year internship course in which final year consist of 1.5 year. It is one of the toughest course based on dental science. The exams are conducted yearly with 100 marks for each paper. In final year the exam is conducted by 2 exams. Total 17 papers are there. Exams are conducted by KUHS university.

There is no placement for our course we need to search job or start job with our own effort. Yes internship ks provided in our college each student should do a 1year internship in the college. We should do clinical duties in each dental departments we should treat the patients and there is only 2000 INR per month as stipend. It is extremely less for us as a doctor

All the special days have been celebrated in our college like New Year ,holy , vishu , ramzan , independence day , onam , teachers day , children's day , christmas etc and their is annual arts day and college day also is conducted.

Fees as per the govt. Fee structure for merit students it's 2.25 lakh INR per year for General category students and there is fee reduction for the backward community. And for management quota there is a fee of 5 lakh INR per year for financial backward students the fee is not feasible

No scholarship or any thing is provided by our college only the loan provided by the govt as educational loan. It is provided for the students from financially backward community. There is no scholarship or loan facitly is offered by our college

Frankly speaking there is no sports ground is available in our college there is a small volleyball court is available there trulely speaking there is no even a single sport item is played there. Labs and all are there in a pathetic condition the available items and all are damaged or not in a proper working condition. For your question excluding lab nothing is there

Yes, all the alumni students are helpful. For our course there should a mutual coorpetion between each students, they help us in the clinical and academic purpose there is alumni network in our college. Some of them arrange get together out side the college.

I had got admission via management quoata by which I had qualified the keam entrance exam. So I got direct admission. I approached the college mangement and submitted all my certificates and also the keam result sheet and thus my admission got registered

In our college their is wonderful group of faculties with very good experience and degrees. There is a group of doctors who have very good practice and very good depo knowledge in their subjects they provide good practical knowledge to us
