Entrance Preview

Scored 60k in EAMCET. And thought that a university will be the best choice to gain knowledge better than others, which made me search for best universities nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure mainly focuses on current industrial trends and practical oriented teaching helps a lot in understanding the subject easily. Research works in waste management ,bio cell ,fuel cell, lathe machines, etc are currently in progress.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, We can opt for an internship semester in final year either in 1st or 2nd sem of our choice. A few multinational companies like amara Raja, TCS etc drives students as interns and best part is that almost every intern gets placed in that same company. Stifund will be between 5k to 19k based on the company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible when compared with other universities. Vignan provides best lab facilities and student friendly campus. Fee structure for 2012 joined ranges from 57k to 95k per year based on the course opted. For 2015 students ranges from 58k to 1.4 lakh per year based on the course opted.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit scholarships for meritorious students in every course and branch. 25%-50% scholarship for merit students every year.

Campus Life

Gender ratio varies based on courses. Courses like mechanical, civil, electrical etc have less girls and courses like biotech, cse, electronics have girls ratio better. Every departments conducts a workshop once in every 6 months. Sports is one of the curriculum in vignan, coaching from experienced coaches and huge playground helps students to learn the sport.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes ofcourse, Alumni has contacts with faculty and they help us a lot in choosing best opportunities available.

Exam Structure

We will have enough time to refresh and replenish ourself. University conducts 3 mid terms and a final semester including lab internal and external .Best of the 2 mids and weightage for attendance and assignments helps us score good in internals and this

Faculty

University provides a free website access named vumoodle to share any important information and clarifying doubts between students and between students to faculty. As all the faculty are the alumnus of iit's and nit's from round the country, they have good

Dislikes

management is giving equal opportunities to everyone . What I felt is they should concentrate on toppers.
college management won't allow students to go out side of the campus without permission

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in my college are good and provide students reasonable career opportunities Approximately 70% of students got placed in the campus recruitment. Apart from on campus drives management encourages students to enhance their skills and gives suggestions in applying out of campus drives.

Campus placements start from the 3-2 semester with pre-placement training, aptitude test, coding rounds and interviews. Companies like HSBC, Prowess soft, ADP, Infinite computer solutions and many more companies visited the campus for recuritment. The average package is around 3.5 LPA while the highest package is 16.43 LPA in 2026 and varies each year. I was selected by Infinite Computer Solution in 4-1 semester itself with a package of 4.5 LPA. After my graduation, I plan to build my career in software development and enhance my techinal skills.

The university is really a huge and vast place but unclean

Dislikes

Dirty washrooms, no hygeine,no maintenance
Old and unclean hostel rooma, worst infrastructure
Unclean mess food , no hygeine, toxic...

the campus is very good as it is build newly. sports facilities are very good .Nets are provided separately for practice
the professors are supportive and we can meet them in their respective cabins if we face any academic difficulties
fests are very enthusiastic and promotes talented individuals in the campus

Dislikes

the campus is located in a backward town
there is a language barrier as telugu people don't speak a good english
food is not good on the maximum days . north indians feel very diificulty in eating south indian food

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got civil engineering in my college. As our country is in developing mode the role of civil engineers is going to be crucial. The interdisplinary subjects prepare us for the challenges faced other than civil engineering.each month we have a exam to be specific 2 minors 1 mid term and 1 end term examination.the difficulty level is somewhat moderate. If we thoroughly go through teachers's notes and practice a few problems it is going to be very helpful
