Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is totally related to the field subjects (technical subjects) and nothing extra. You will get to learn all about the aircraft and the maintenance procedures to be carried out and how to do it theoretically and practically as well. The exam from the college will be monthly based called as Computer based test, where you get 20 marks for each subjects. The average of 1 semester (6 months) is taken into consideration out of 20%, the rest 80% has to be scored by the semester exam at the last where the passing percentage is 75%. A guy scoring below it has to reappear in the exam or will not be allowed to take part in the next semester.
Placement Experience
The placement part isn't that good when it comes to Aviation Maintenance. There is very rare or no campus placements at all because no or very few companies wants to hire freshers for these risky works. If you do this course then make sure you have contacts in the industry who can refer you. Or you can look for opportunities on online job portals like one I Know specially designed for aviation and aerospace is Aeromate.in
College Events
There are no other events except Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated here. In this span of a week they conduct different sports leagues and cultural activities also like Dancing, singing, Acting and much more. Sports mainly includes indoor sports like Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis etc and also outdoor sports like Football, Cricket, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Badminton, Marathon etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite expensive costing ?70,000 per semester. That makes around ?420000 in total + ?50000 admission fees, ?24000 for books ?8000 for uniform and some additional fees if you are opting for hostel facilities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The loan facility will be provided by the college if you demand for it. They will issue a quotation of fee structure and will give you admission receipt with an ID card which you can show to your bank and avail the loan. The scholarship does not exist here. The only people who get waiver in their fees will be those who come in top 2 in terms of marks scored from the class. The first topper will get 100% fee waiver for the next semester whereas the 2nd topper will get 50% waiver.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are very very few. Like only the Ganesh chaturthi is celebrated here in the span of these days all of the cultural programs and sports are carried out. Speaking of the labs, the labs have enough demo equipments, live aircraft engines, and the cut sections of them for the easy demonstration of the things. Loved the labs, very few colleges in India have this kind of engines available for demonstration. The workshop also is well equipped to train your over different kinds of equipments.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is good, the rooms are spacious, double decker beds are comfortable. Light and water will be 24*7. The warden is good too he will take care of you. No ragging or whatsoever will be tolerated here. The hostel will cost you around ?6000/month
Alumni/Alumna
Where the placement isn't that good, all of the People I know from this college have a job somewhere. We are all in one network where we always help each other to get a job. Seniors were really helpful for me to get a job, and now that I have I will help someone else to get theirs.
Admission
As I belong to the other state I came in to visit Flytech Aviation Academy one day, and totally liked the infrastructure, faculty and practical labs there amongst all of those I visited earlier and later gave an entrance exam based on 12th class knowledge and more like an aptitude test. Further when I was qualified I went to take the admission.
Faculty
The faculty is very good and well experienced. Most of the teachers are retired air force personnels who have worked more than 15 years in the field. The teaching methodology is the best I can say. Get as much knowledge as possible is the motto of their teaching.
