Review of A.D patel institute of technology

Its a good college if you are good student. Computer engineering, IT and EC department has high placements. Other department student do need to find jobs through off campus interviews. It is the only college in gujarat to have food processing and technology department

This college do follow GTU curriculum. So anyone can visit site or GTU for more details. Exams are held each 6 months which are conducted by GTU. You need to score at least 23 marks out of 80 to pass the subject.

Specific to computer department. There are very high chances of getting placed. In our batch more than 50 students got placed out of more than 65 from computer department only. IT depatment and EC department also has good number of placement. But other branches do struggle to get student placed.

Every year a tech fest is celebrated in our college. Which do have different activites and different competitions counducted by various departments. Even you can participate in the events of the colleges nearby. Which are conducter throughout the year.

Fees is little bit expensive. If you get admission through tution fee waiver scheme then it won't cost you more than 10k per year for college fees. But for normal candidates for my batch it was around 98k per year. While it was supposed to be incremented for next year batch. So it will be something around 1.2 lakh per year. If you have good enough marks in 12th and you have good score in JEE you will get a high rank in ACPC merit list. Also if income of your father is less than 2 lakh 40 thousand you can avail for Tution fee waiver scheme. Also there schemes for students of backward casts. As i mentioned techfest is held every year. Apart from this college has a seperate sports department for different sports. Also we have a big enough cricket ground+football ground and a basketball court. Computer department labs were also good enough. But you won't have internet free internet facilty. You will need to have your own wifi accees of the college.

No i did not opt for hostel facilities. Considering the cleaning facilties and types or rooms they were good enough to live. It did not have much issues. Our college had average wifi facilities on which many of the sites were blocked. Mess food was pathetic sometimes insects were found in the food. And it was compulsory to pay the fees of mess food if you are living in hostel.

I did not get to interact much with my seniors. But i was helpful to my juniors. So it depends on the level of interaction you have. Alumni network i would say is not so good. We just have a facebook page as alumni.

I got admission through the councelling held by ACPC. There are two ways to get admission into A.D patel institute of technology. Either through counselling or through management quota. If anyone does not get admission through counseling they should try through managment quota because other colleges in gujarat do take donation to give admission but this college does not.

Specific to computer engineering. There are different faculties. It won't matter much which subject is being taught. You will feel bored while being taught by some faculties and everything will be blank. While you will understand each and every topic while being taught by some faculties.
