An Honest review of PCTE , from Admissions to Placement

I choose this course because the mix of core management theories and many practical management activities . It prepare students for the real world scnerios with collaborative group prjects and industry interactions. The teaching methods are innovative and involve constant engagement of students. The exams are conducted after approximately a month apart. The timings are good and easy.

PCTE offers internships in various domains such as finance , marketing, international business, sales and HR .The company that were offered for internship were Affluent infra tech, akal spring , Nirmal Bang,AMG group At Research &Risk management ,BNM solutions, Motilal oswal, CICU, Auzcan immigration, Fastway, Freeman group, HDFC life, HT media, ITC, Mars Exim and many others. Students not only get exposure on the campus but also with such opportunities that help the become professionals.

PCTE provides very good placement opportunities they avg package is 6-7 LPA. Many renowned MNCs come here to recruit students. There is a JOB fare where students can approach companies and go for walkin interviews. For MBA students placement start from 3rd semester. PCTE recently had Vardhman , ITC ,Hawkins , HDFC life, DNA group, cremica, Findoc, Kea, Hero Exports ,Avon cycles, Sportking,AIPL, zomato , Mind Seekers ,icici prudential ,Federal Bank, Hindustan times, Times of India. Highest package 12Lpa I plan to work in a good reputed MNC in future.

Fees remains same 49900 approx. for all the semesters that include tution fees and examination fees of 4600 approx. Placement cell charges 10000 approx including training and development charges, workshop , seminars

Campus life here is quite good, mostly driven by events consumer hubs , koshish a three day event where students from other colleges and schools come to participate. We had monthly events too such as vipanan, komerce karva . Every department has its own library with books and journals related to the subjects. The classes are fully airconditioned and equipped with smartboard . The sports events occur throughout out the year making a work life balance where each and every class has to participate in various events such as cricket , football, badminton, chess, table tennis , tug of war, benchpress , etc. There are many clubs such as Holistic club, Events on air, Literary club, adventure club etc.

When i started searching for MBA my first choice was GNE ,Ludhiana . I choose PCTE over other colleges because of their culture of bringing practical knowledge and theoretical learning together as one. Also major reason was their Placements in ludhiana pcte has most promising placements. In Admission process firstly you have to fill the form of basic details . Then there is a personal interaction interview with the college officials . There are separate meeting sections where you can meet the faculty and know more about the different courses

Faculty student ratio is 1:50 approx , the faculty is very understanding and considerate very easy to approach. I would like to talk about Dr. Naresh Sachdev .He is very active and ensures that corporate concepts are clear, hi sessions are highly engaging . Dr. Tavneet Kaur , Dr. Roshanpreet Kaur ,Prof. Aasma Diwan and Mr Chaksh Sharma offer great mentorship and guidance for students. They provide excellent learning experiences and corporate training initiatives. Each semester there are 2 Mid semester exams , with projects vivas and presentations. The course curriculum is highly structured and relevant .

There were general discussions about journey of btech , we talked about my carrier plans and future goals, and some technical questions and why did i choose mba. The process of admissions is simple we have to fill the form and take our original documents along 10th dmc12th dmc . To prepare for my interview i revised my final year projects and and searched for mba related questions.

Rhere are international students who come to play and practice sports after college hours . There are various events that happen during night time. Such as koshish , Dj party , Freshers party and farewells. There are various cantees to hangout . The college hostel timing is till 8 pm and the locality is safe for girls to roam around at night .
