Remarks

The college is good and motivational indeed. They teach us learning from mistakes is better than punishments ,thus we can emerge out successfully from any crucial situations with ease. All in all ,I love the college and I surely believe my friends and all the others loves the college as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opted the course BA CPS, which is bachelor of arts in criminology, psychology and sociology. It's also called triple BA. We follow a new system of syllabus called the CBCS pattern of education. And to speak of exams, there will be an internal test on every subject in the middle of a semester and a final exam at the end of each semester.

Placement Experience

4

I am a second year student in the college and we are currently doing internships based on our subject of psychology. We often go to de-addicton centers and mental hospitals etc to study the various cases and the history of the causes. Overall it is a wonderful experience here.

College Events

5

We celebrate almost all the festivals here starting from Christmas, new year etc and the India's most loved dussehra, the Onam etc. We also have a student parliament, and the talents forum which helps the student to understand and to experience all the cultural activities and festivals as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. Compared to other colleges in different states of India, our college give opportunity to every student who wish to learn more. And the college also gives free education to selected students who are economically backward.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given to international students belonging to a particular category, They are provided with free education here. And also the students who belong to an economically backward community is given free education, with scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities are extremely good. We have a college gym here , a pretty big ground where we can play football , cricket etc. almost all sorts of sports and games are played in the college. Lab is also well maintained, with latest equipments and infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Even though the hostel fee is a bit expensive, the boys hostel facility is just lit. It's awesome , the rooms are well furnished. Each room has a TV. An attached bathroom, and uninterrupted power supply.

Alumni/Alumna

All of them are very helpful and loving. Many of them have grabbed great jobs, and still they visit the college to meet their teachers. It's a wonderful thing to watch. The campus has been named an anti ragging campus , that is ,no ragging will be entertained in the campus. Most of all, there is no difference between the students. All are labelled as 'MAHAJANITES'.

Admission

First they will verify if we have passed the 12th exams. Assess our marks, we have to score a minimum of 50% to get admission. Or else, you need to have a recommendation from a political or an influencial person. But normally admission criterion is a bit easy compared to other colleges in India.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is very good indeed. There are teachers from different parts of India here. Most of them have more than 10 years of teaching experience. Also the college is accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Remarks:

I liked the course provided by this college. The subjects are different for every semester and the aura is splendid. This college provides a very good faculty which not only is good at keeping up with academics, but also is great in keeping a good rapport with their students. There is a whole variety of extra curricular activities which brings out the core personality of every student. I for a fact, had stage fear. But after I chose MIC, I really started getting over it.
