Course Curriculum Overview
The reason i choose the CSE with data science specialization and by which i get influenced was my interest in maths and statistics and also by seeing the growing data science field . The future of Data - science branch is going to explode the tech field so i am completely satisfied with my correct decision to choose CSE(data science) field.
Internships Opportunities
The TCS offers variety of roles to students like web intern , software engineer, software developer, web designer etc. and DSA is required to the placement point of view , some basic knowledge related to the course is mandatory to get placed and you have atleast 2-3 major and minor projects which you had worked on .
Placement Experience
From 6th semester the students become eligible and ready to sit for the campus placements. The companies that visited to gyan ganga in past are Infosys , TCS, CISCO, Cognizant etc. Around 75 to 80 percent students get placed every year . The placement rate of Gyan ganga is comparatively higher than other colleges of the city After getting the B-tech degree i want to pursue the higher education further related to tech field.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee structure for the btech course for cse branch is around 75,000 and the semester wise fees is 37,500 including the professional technical fee of 2500. And other than this fee the university development fee of rupee 350 and student welfare fee of 200 is required every semester . some of my batchmates from OBC and SC category , they are availing the scholarship opportunities like MP TASS , gaon ki beti etc . And the bright students from the general category get the "Pragati Scholarship" frrom government.
Campus Life
The annual fests that are organized in the college are Gyanotsav, Winter Breeze, Garba fest and many others festivals are celebrated in the campus. The variety of books available in the college is very satisfactory , if anyone wants to read the books of wekk known authors they can avail it from library Everything that is needed for study and knowledge is provided by the faculty and management like - projectors for better visualization and labs for hands on practice. There are so many groups officilal and unofficial which are handled by faculty ans students or seniors through which they provide the information related to tech.
Admission
I did'nt apply for any colleges this was first college which i applied for , and i got confirmed admission from this college. The reasom for choosing the Gyan ganga college over another college was the higher placement rate from this college which was higher compared to another colleges in jabalpur, MP. JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is accepted for the admission process.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio in the Gyan ganga college is about 1/50 . the teachers are very friendly and down to earth , they are always ready to help and guide the students . Faculties aware the students about the new opportunities and jobs related to tech field and they guide& prepare the students to make them job ready for the current & future job market.
Night Life
I am not gyam person so i dont know much about the gym area but yes under the 2 km range from the college there are gym spots The college timing is 10 am to 4 pm usually . The famous hangout places near the college is "Bheraghat", "Bargi Dam" and many others
