I had given UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh state engineering examinations) and got 12600 rank. so I participated in counselling and then I got my collage that is ashoka institute. From earlier I had huge interest in machines, engines and their designing so I taken mechanical engineering as my stream.

The course is very good but I think there must be something related to computer and electronics should be there like in engine mechanism we read how to drive them mechanically but after that cource must include an alternative way of that also like how can we drive engine's valve mechanism via micro chips. B.tech is of 8 semester and we read so many subjects but with them UPTU must include workshops on robotics also because I found so many of my friend who were interested in robotics and thay take mechanical branch to learn about them but in mechanical branch there is no subject which lightly or hardly focus on robotics.

In last summer I take internship in D.L.W( diesel locomotive work), Varanasi there I found the best place for learning and experiencing the power of mechanical engineering , even they were allowing interns to enter into the real engine that's was the awesome thing that i found there. But there I did not got any stipend that's the thing that hearts me alot but any way it was the best place I found for learning applications of what we study in our cource.

As my college is new. it was started on 2010 that's why I think it's placement she'll were not so good, only few companies like earth infrastructure, parle, sun infotech came for campus placement. Last year from mechanical branch out of the strength of 57 only 10-11 students were placed through campus placement and their annual package were only 2.5 lacks to 3 lacks per annum.

Recently we had celebrated our technical fest named yantrika 2k15 website : yantrika2k15.com And cultural fest abhyuday 2015Technical fest were too awesome , many programs like robo battle, beat AutoCAD, draw your imagination, were introduced and all these programs are open for all means even another collage students were also take participation in all events. Cultural fest was so good . our collage had invited "ankit tiwari" for their live show in our collage and laser light dance was too good. Since every one can participate in all events that's why in so many events the student from "IIT bhu" won.

Hostel is outside the campus . it is about 1.5 km far from the main campus, the condition of the hostel is not too good, always there is light problem , in night after light cutoff generator were run only for 2 hours after that we have to sleep without light. But during examinations they give light up to 20 hours a day. Flooding facility is worst , in collage day a small meal was given on 7:30 am and then direct another meal was given after collage off that is at 4:30 pm and then finally dinner was given at about 8-8:30 pm. In Indoor games there is only Table tennis and for out door there is only badminton and volleyball is available . semester wise we have pay rs. 25000 of I rate hostel folding and lodging out of 10 I will rate it 6 only.

There is no any bank collaboration with collage means no any special loan scheme is available but if we take education loan from any bank they allow for that. Every year we fill the scholarship from of "samaj kalyan" Uttar Pradesh, but they did not gave any assured guarantee that scholarship will come or not. I had filled that form 3 times and I got my scholarship amount only 1 time (rs. 40000). there is another scholarship scheme of collage but its only for topper of each branch. Every year toppers of each branch can read his next year for free.

Campus life was not as expected just because of the strict collage rule. There is a collage dress code if you did not wear that you did not allow in collage campus, 75% attendance is compulsary other wise one have to pay fine for that. Gender ration is about 70:30 means 70% boys and 30% girls. In every 6 months around 1 - workshops were taken place. Labs were well maintained but we there is lack of required machine for experiments. But those machines was there , works well as expected. In sports cricket , volleyball, table tennis, badminton is available. In collage therebis no discrimination between students regarding religion and economical condition. In collage there is no mean of any kind of politics , every decision were made by management.

Alumni network is not so good, but interaction with seniors was good. Seniors were too supportive, they support in every manner from study to sports, as I wrote above I had interest in feild of robotics also, but in our syllabus there's is no robotics related subject but in this my seniors help me alot in knowing many new things in our collage technical fest we had made a quadcopter . and this is only possible due to my senior named Akash Sahani and their friends.

Faculties were good but not superb only few were too talented but overall faculty was good.
