Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is good but I feel the vtu syllabus is too basic, even in the higher sems, which should be improved. The electives also were too broad and hence not much useful. I also feel more than theory we should be trained and allowed to comeup with self solutions without pressure or restrictions to let the real ability of the student to surface

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year ?127984, tuition fee 11,000? and 98984 was my cet fee and I opted for transport facility so 18,000? For management I think it was upto 2L or more, and hostel facility is 75000. Though now it has increased for sure

Campus Life

4

Almost all festivals are celebrated but its mostly upto the students as they are the organizers and planners. If you want to celebrate a festival or plan an event, then you take permission from the teachers responsible and once it gets approved by the CEO, you can go ahead and execute the plan. If none are celebrated also, the freshers day, graduation day, and annual fest is celebrated for sure. Also the other festivals too, even puja and rituals take place too. Its a great place.

Admission

I got the college under kcet, I chose the college due to the travelling- such good atmosphere and view early in the morning gives a fresh start to your day and when ur tired returning back home, the view and greenery is enough to ease your tensed brain and bring ease. The next reason was the teachers who went through my admission process. The 3 teachers made me feel I belonged there and I still feel that way.

Faculty

4

It is vtu based college, so 3 internals followed by the finals and for labs if it has an external then both internal and external is conducted else only one internal as per the student requirement. Faculty are a mix of strict and friendly, its an adventure for you to be able to understand how to approach and behave with each.

Interview Experience

5

No, as mine was kcet nothing of that sprt was done I just verified my documents made the payment and got into the college The documents to be cadried were mentioned in the kcet website itself after grtting the college details

Night Life

5

The huge lawn is a captivating place. It is in the open, so looking atthe sky, watching planes while chatting away amid the blooming nature Thats heaven on earth. College starts at 8.30 upto 3.30. On event days it might extend to 7 or 9 due to DJ nights etc The late nights are worthy.

Placement Experience:

campus placements in the collage usually start during the final year, and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester depending on their academic performance and eligibility criteria set by companies . The placement cell in the collage helps students by organizing placements drives, aptitude training, and career guidance sessions. varies companies visit the campus every year mainly from IT, Service, and some core engineering sectors. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and other mid-level organizations have visited for recruitment in previous years . the average package offered to students is usually around 4LPA to 10LPA depending on the company and job role, while the highest package may very each year based on the recruiting companies . A reasonable percentage of students secure placements through campus recuitment, while some studies or look for opportunities outside campus placements. after completing the degree, my plan is to build strong techical skills and pursue opportunities in the core engineering.

Students become eligible for placements from the 4th year as placement training occurs in 3rd year(6th semester). There are multiple companies like Infosys, Oracle, ABC, HP, Adobe and many other companies that visit our college for placements. The highest package was 56 LPA and the placement percentage is about 80 to 95% so there is a strong chance of placement in RNSIT.

Placements in our college are pretty good with the average package being around 10 lakhs. Our college provides comprehensive training to prepare us for placments by conducting training over 2 months for both technical rounds as well as non-technical aptitude rounds. Mock interviews are conducted in order to prepare us for the real interviews.
