Remarks

The overall course that are provided by the college are very good which ensures the bright future of students which is quite good but at the same time they don't provide good employment in the placement of college. There are some external disturbances too.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course is very good. It's is not very popular one and that is what makes it a hidden treasure. There are enormous scope of geology. The course curriculum conists of 24 papers. Every year you have to give 2 semesters having 4 papers in each. Maximum marks are 100 with 60 marks alloted to the end sem exam , 20 to internal exams and 20 marks to practicals.

Placement Experience

0.5

Placement is not good at all. There are not so many scopes of placement after the completion of the course. The college provides internships to doctoral fellows but it doesn't give any sort of internships to students in the under graduate program.

College Events

4.5

Red Cross day- celebrated in the college by the red Cross group and it's volunteers, Independence day- this day is celebrated by the whole college, Republic day, Annual day, Ganesh puja, Sayonara etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very much feasible, the college always keep an eye on the students and their economic conditions as it is a government college. The tuition fees along with other fees is very less.(Less than 3000 rupees).

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides inspire scholarships for meritorious students. The college always takes care of backward caste people like SC / ST and provide them prerna scholarship with the help of the government. The college also helps in distributing laptops to meritorious students.

Campus Life

2.5

The college politics is the real deal. people of every kind of race colour caste are elected. Sports is a very good part of the college's reputation. There are several competitions of sports which takes place every year. There are some labs present which are not very morden.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of this college is the strongest part of this college. They are people who have achieved so much for themselves and for the college. Seniors are quite helpful. They are quite friendly. Ragging has no place inside the campus.

Admission

Applied online on SAMS odisha website and got a call in the 3 Rd selection list and then got admitted into the course B.Sc geology (hons) with passing subjects as physics and mathematics. The admission fees was less than 3000 rupees.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty are quite experienced and good. The professor , assistant professors are quite knowledgeable with some guest faculties and some highly experienced visiting faculties. They are Masters and doctorate degree holders in geology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific curriculum aspects that influence the choice of a course include unique modules that align with your interests and career goals, a program's reputation, teaching and assessment methods, and opportunities like study abroad or internships. You should research the specific content, like whether a course is more theoretical or practical, and choose based on what best path. I took english hnrs because of english is my favourite subject... And about changes in english explanation is the best teaching part in this course .. so I want to change this part of my teacher that's all
