Remarks
Every college has its Pros and Cons, but we are good nothing going to affect us, as far as Saraf college is a concern, overall it good in all the terms to conclude I can say that I had the best time of my life in the college which I can remember in my whole life plus a quality education.
Course Curriculum Overview
In our college, there is a wide range of courses available right from B.com to BMS, BAF, BMM, and so on. Though our college is not an autonomous college the Question Paper and Exams are conducted as per Mumbai University, till 2nd year it will be self-centred and for 3rd year the centre will be in other colleges.
Placement Experience
To be honest, I personally did not participate in the placement program, because I was already in the job. College conduct placement program and many of my friends got jobs in there desired field.
College Events
The college conducts many events during the year, like if I say one the biggest event of my college in MAUJ Festival, in which Games, Traditional programs, Sports and many more activities are involved. Students from various colleges participate in MAUJ events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is the Semi-Government college Aided and Unaided both the sections are available, and admission in the sections are depends on the Marks obtained in HSC. Fees are comparatively low for both the sections as compared to other nearby colleges. My fees for the first year in 2017 was 5000-6000.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I did not take any educational loan and scholarship but yes college does provide such kind of facility.
Campus Life
The life in our college is just awesome, the crowd was also good. There is not any kind of misbehaviour in college. It is good and safe for girls too. If we compare the gender ratio there are more girls as compared to boys in the college, the reason being the trust which governs the college also runs the Girls school and after SSC they can get the Admission in the aided sections via in house quota.
Alumni/Alumna
We are not so involved with our college seniors at the time of college, so can't comments on this point.
Admission
There are basically two ways to get admission in the college that is Offline and Online mode. First, you have to take prospectus from the college and all the procedure are mentioned in that prospectus. And also you have to fill the Mumbai University form which is mandatory for all.
Faculty
The faculty in our college are Experienced, Highly qualified and well trained. One can get the best knowledge of the particular subjects, one can also freely interact with the professor if in case someone has certain queries. They are very friendly with the students.
