Remarks

The college should make its infrastructure better for better service. Make a snacks canteen for a permanent basis. Also the food canteen. Don't put the fee collection load on lectures. Allow them only for providing better knowledge to students.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are different types of courses provided by the institute like Computer Science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering and lots. About the exam, there are 8 semester exam in 4 Yr. 2 semester each year.

Placement Experience

Now a days placement is a advertising strategy. I think about 95% engineering colleges dose not provide any placements to their students. In my time college not providing any internship. Stipend is provided by state govt.

College Events

Welcome ceremony for fresher student, sports for all student, seminar in all exams, annual function for all students. This function is most enjoyable. Many singers and stars are invited to cheer the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is Rs. 100000 including hostel fees. 60000 for tuition fee and rest 40000 for hostel. As the govt provides the stipend fee upto 64000 to sc St students. It is very helpful to them

Fees and Financial Aid

As I have mentioned college not providing any scholarship at stipend to the student. It's only provided by the state government. Also no loan facility is not provided by the college. The student to arrange the loan from any bank according to their fee structure.

Campus Life

Extra curriculum activities happens in the college like dance, debates, essay writing, rangoli, singing etc. All sports game are happens but cricket is more popular. An inter college cricket tournament happens among the college in the City.

Hostel Facilities

As the college does not have its own hostel it have taken rent to providing hostel facility. All facilities are upto ta manageable standard. The food provided by the college canteen is delicious, hygiene

Admission

I got admission through OJEE entrance exam and the college counselling process. It took 3 months from entrance exam to college admission. As I have applied for hostel, college took the first installment of Rs. 40000.00

Faculty

The faculties are good but not excellent. I think they have not much experience. Faculties are very co-operative. The management of the college gives the fee collection job to the faculties, which hampers the dignity of a lecture.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

According to recent placement statistics, the highest package offered at the college is around ?9.2 LPA, while the average package is about ?4–4.5 LPA. In the 2024 placement session, about 682 students were placed out of 803 graduating students, which shows a strong placement performance. The median salary for many programs is around ?6.5 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Students after completing 6th semester are given chances to do internship and convert it to ppo A total of around 60 companies visited the campus last year. For core branches tata power ,jsw offers a lot of jobs in tech roles tcs capegemini and other service based companies hires. Also cisco hires via there hiring process. Student have also grabbed placement at amazon and ib like credit suisse and goldman sachs previously. Around 60% students are getting placed every year Last year a total of 650 offers are made. So its better to get a job via campus placement rather than trying off-campus

From 6th semester onwards wards students are eligible for campus placement.it provides 100% placement guaranteed to the students who were eligible and sit for the placement drive. Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are good but not great. Th overall performance of students getting placement from every branch course combined is more than seventy percent. But the percentage in branch to branch respective wise is different , as Computer science engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and Electrical Engineering have higher placement rates than any other courses. From Seventh semester students became eligible for sitting in placements. You can say from the start of Fourth year students sit in placements. Many companies visit and offer placements to our students but the big companies are TCS( Tata consultancy services) , Infosys, Adani Limited , Reliance Limited , Tata Power and Co.. The highest package offered to our branch course ( Electrical Engineering ) Is 13 LPA by Tata Power. The percentage of students getting placed by Electrical Engineering is pretty good and is 77%. Overall percentage of students from all branches is 72%. My plans after getting the degree is simple. I am preparing for placements and also for gate exam . I want to give myself a chance . I will try to get a big placement from a big company as I want . If that doesn't go according to my plan I will try to qualify gate exam and will do Masters in Technology in a. Higher Institute.

This was the best college in Balasore.

Candidate must have to appear in JEE/OJEE entrance examination to take admission. You can find those application forms on the respective portal. After that, you have to go through a counselling process. College fees: course fee - 55,000/-, transport fee - 8000/-, hostel fee -16000/-. Avarage college where you can get good teaching

When I go for an admission on my collage there were too many staffs were sitting inside the conference hall . I entered into that room and one faculty member ask me to seat infront of him and told me to show my documents to her . I open my bag and open all the documents and submitted those to him .
