Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are based on semester based according to Mangalore University which will be held on December,June, December, June during the 2 years course. And all the needed support will be given by the college

Placement Experience

Placement assistance is provided by a Bangalore based agency who will take the students for interviews and support them for the attainment of jobs. Internship is provided by the college but no stipends are provided. After the first year we need to do a one month internship program

College Events

Many events are celebrated in the college during the academic year. 1. Welcome program for 1st year students 2. Orientation 3. Quiz program 4. National conference 5. Inter college fest 6. Intra college fest 7. Christmas 8. Onam 9. All the main celebrations 10. Farewell party Etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. It will change year by year. In the academic year 2018-2019 it was 2.55 lakhs for the full course. This year it is 2.7 lakhs In addition to this hostel,mess, traveling,exam fees, University eligibility certificate fees, and some program funds are taken extra

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are provided by the government. And nothing by the college. Government scholarship can be availed. Loan is available and every papers for the loan will be provided by the college at the time of admission.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities like sports,labs,etc are provided and it can be rated as good. They make the students to participate in every events which are liked by the students. And appreciation are given to the achievers

Alumni/Alumna

Alimini meets are conducted every year at the end of academic year. It is held for one day. The final yera students conduct this program and make it as a successful one. Most of the aluminies will be present alon that day

Admission

Step 1 : Attend the MAT/KMAT/CMAT entrance exams and acquire required Percentage of marks Step 2 : get the score card and directly visit the college and apply for the admission Step 3 : If eligible pay the admission fees of Rs. 5000. And get the admission letter. Step 3 : wait for the date of starting the classes

Faculty

Excellent, the faculties are good and having required educational background like PhD etc. We can join the college for getting the best for our future and safe careers. Internal exams will be held between semesters.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Nitte: My review on my college

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Practically 80% of my 2020 batch was given job offer by top recruiting organizations like Amazon, iGate, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co. Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.
